cool concept. My advice- make the ornaments look stiffer, more identifiable. Like take the guys angle and change it so he looks like he was thrown into the seat, as well as the flamingos. I would ziltch the knomes hands.

Even if you keep it as it is color them in to look plastic or something. Is that the travelosity knome, because if it is that is awsome =)

i love this idea and the gnome haha. i think that first comment is pretty spot on though, i think it would be alot funnier if they appeared sort of thrown into the car.

I agree with making it more evident that they came from a garden. Maybe have dirt or flowers flying out of the car.



Also, I would definately appreciate color for it, because that's is what gives lawn ornaments their appeal.

So far i'm liking this. I think its funny. Can't wait to see it in colour. Just an idea but what about say a gnome or some other lawn ornament on the side of the road as a hitchhiker?

I think the car and ornament dudes are perfect! I see only 2 things that maybe need to be changed - the silhouette guy looks a little odd currently, and I think the house compostion should be changed.

I think how the fence is on one side and not on the others makes it look kind of unbalanced.



What about flipping it and putting it on the other side of the design? Maybe so that they ornament guys are just going out of the drive way?

I don't think the house is that bad... you might just change the road...

I likes I likes. Rooftiles will sell it for me - pretty stupid detail i know... but I think its in the details.

Make the house more faded, it really looks like it's floating in front of the characters now.

Its looking good. The lawn jockey is much better now that he has his lantern. I like the house and the skid marks to the driveway, and the angry guy. I agree that the house should fade into the background more though, maybe back to outlines or lighter colors?



There is something about the headlights of the car.. they look like eyes now, is the car a character too? If not maybe remove the inner circles from the headlights.

i don't know about that yellow :/ maybe go with a blue house and make the gnome skin the same as the other guys :) i think that would make it look less crass

awesome so far, I would make the guy on the passenger side a lot more stiff and almost sitting a bit weird on the seat so he looks more like an ornament then a regualr person, but great work so far man

I think the positioning is a little awkward with them just rounding a curve, yet they have speed lines

Yeah maybe you could just ditch the speed lines, its clear that they are driving away anyway. Then its done.

The is quite good, as I said b4 you should submit. My only gripe is the size of the wheels. They look a bit large..

Woah! This is looking pretty good! I think it lacks a sense of speed though. Perhaps try making the ornaments in the car have their arms up or something to signify that they've escaped. But this is looking pretty good so far!

I don't get the sense that the car is speeding off, despite those little speed lines. maybe some dust from the wheels, or some more blurriness, would create a better sense of speed. Also, the sharp bend in the road dampens the impression of speed, since they would have had to slow down considerably to make the turn.



maybe a rake and some other lawn items (flower pots, leaf bags?) could be on the lawn in front of the house.
