About the pattern (I guess you mean the half tone pattern(?) )

It looks a lot grubbier in the small picture then in the close-up.

I just can't get halftone to look good in smaller pictures.

A faded edge would mean I have to fade the banana as well... and that would look rubbish.

I agree about using thicker lines on the banana to make it stand out a little better. Maybe add some black at the stem and black spots on the peel as well.

Is there a purpose to the shape of the "frame"? I like how the banana is outside the frame at the bottom. What if you had the clouds and a few sun rays extend outside the frame? Right now, it kind of looks like you're looking out of a tunnel and the banana is just inside the tunnel....if that's the case, a black shirt would probably work better.

You did a good job with the EMTs. It's hard to do people so small and with so few details, but you pulled it off well.

I really like your style. I think you can fade out the edges without fading the banana. It would just make the banana more of a focal point. The framing as is kinda reminds me of a church window though. I really love everything thing else though. Good work. If you get a second and can take a look at mine I would really appreciate it.

You could keep the shape and make it look a little more like a headstone. Like the idea and the pattern. Fun idea.

Currently working on a round frame (the old one was supposed to remind of a window or a catholic icon).

It originally had sunbeams and clouds coming out of it but I cut them out on this version. I will add them back and see how it looks.

I am still struggling with the banana peel. The dark yellow is halftone so adding another color is a bit tricky...

Made the lines around the banana thicker and irregular to make it look more cartoon-ish. I also moved it a bit closer to the picture.

Looks cool, I like your concept. But I am too wondering about the yellow trail leading up to the banana. And I would try out some different banana colour schemes. The yellow seems too light.

The mysterious yellow line was supposed to look like a road centre line. I obviously need to find a way to make that more clear. Ideas?

I think the shape is definitely improved. And I like the clouds and rays extending past the circle.

I could tell the yellow line was the center line, but maybe you could maybe make it a dotted line instead of a solid line (technically, I guess it's more of a dashed line) if that helps make it more obvious what it is.

Fiddled a lot with the banana peal. Did not turn out that wonderful but I'm not getting any further for now.

I cut the road line into smaller lines and cut out the part which was coming out of the frame.

A shadow for the blood bag (or whatever you call those) was added so I moved the skateboard a bit to the right to give some room.

Great layout and design. I think this one is ready for submission!

It's looking great! I like how you added the shadow across the banana...excellent. I also like the spots on it.

And the dashed road line is more readable as a road line.

I think my only suggestion this time is maybe extend the sun rays just a little further...they stop too close to the same point as the halftone.

Ooooo, yeah for half-tone patterns! I also like how it's in a circle. much better than the arch in the earlier versions. I guess you could extend the rays a little more, but I think that'd be my only crit.

Ok, folks. There is not much new here exept the longer sunbeams. I think they got kind of pointy. I also added a black half tone shade on the blood stains to get rid of the color 'bleeding' (not a joke). Better?

woah! beautiful artwork! the blood puddles don't seem realistic though, and the sun rays remind me of Japan's rising sun flag in WWII..don't know if many people know about that nowadays so i guess it look aite. Ok this may be harsh:



1) the blood fits in much better in this one.

2) the sun's rays look good (maybe a little bit sharp)

3) placement is great

4) submitting this as it is will give you a great score

5) love it - poor skater dude hehe

Why, that was not so harsh. To the point - I would call it.

The sun rays got very pixelated around the edges when scaled down. They actually looked like breakfast waffles at first but I managed to smoothe them a bit.

nothing to say about your concept and details. But i'm not a big fan of the colors you used. The details are good but because of the colors it looks like something done in Powerpoint. The colorscheme is too pale for my taste.



And the biggest - points for me in this design is the circle like composition. Instead of doing this make it on a grey shirt ( the one you used for the road) and halftone the sky. That would look better than this. Hope it helps.
