maybe mute the colors...that stands out too much on the dark shirt...for me at least

The reason I chose dark shirts is because every line in the piece was taken out to be able to use the maximum allowed colors of 5.

So the lines will be whatever the shirt color is, but if the shirt color is lighter it will make the design look awkward.

Unless you print on a light colour and make the colour of the shirt one of the colours in the design and reintroduce the lines. I love the illustration, but I am not convinced about the colour choices. I don't think the colours don't need to be so bold, personally.

I don't know why, but I love the designs that can stick out more then the subdued look. I like people to notice the design and nothing but the design! But of course this can always be put on a lighter shirt with darker lines.

maybe in the layout you coul offer two different possibilites for the background, that could raise your votes, this will score high, I'm telling you.
