Fruit Flies are taking over kitchens and they wont go away. If they were more like they sound maybe it would be a little more bearable.

I love the design and concept, but you should think of a better composition, it doesn't work for me right now.

IdanRooze, thanks for the comment. Do you mean the way it is laid out on the shirt or the way the flies are arranged?

I meant the way they are arranged. I like their size and overall design.

It should work better on lighter shirts, like the light-blue you used, or the creamy one.



If I change my mind about the arrangement I'll let you know.

That's really cute. I agree that they should be a bit smaller to get the point across. But another compositional trick would be to come up with one more (or even one less) fruit fly - odd amounts are more visually pleasing than even ones.

I changed the arrangement, and added the blueberries. The idea was to make them have a perspective of being higher and closer than the others. Any suggestions? Comments really help.

although. I think you should have one blueberry zooming away from the herd and you should include 'dashes' or a trail behind the one blueberry.

Fun idea. I can't tell if that red one is an apple or a strawberry. Sorry, maybe it's just me.

Yeah, add more different fruits...pineapple would be fun. Also raspberries, cherries, peaches, etc. Well, I guess you can't do too many, there is a color limit.

It might be fun to have them pinned to a board and labeled like a bug collection.

I am not sure about adding more fruits. I though about it before but I don't want it to look to busy. Other fruit might make it more complicated because they have more detail involved.



What about the perspective and arrangement?

i really like this design, but i don't love the color of the shirt with the design; something more bright, or white...

i think it might be nice to have the fruits a little more proportional to one another. for example, the banana should probably be the biggest, blueberries smallest, etc.

I tried it like that punkybruiser but you couldn't really see the detail on the blueberries. Right now it is supposed to have a perspective of the blueberries being higher and closer to the viewer than the rest of the fruit.
