The tooth fairy is really only collecting baby teeth to fit in her tiny mouth to satisfy her sick fascination.

Critique me please.

She looks pretty happy though! I like this design a lot! I love her expression. The only thing I might do is make her a little bit smaller on shirt. I think she would look cool with something like a pixie dust trail coming from her, it would add to the sense of movement. Good stuff!

i've got one too:

Bdling - thanks so much for the critique.. I am trying to do the pixie dust design now - that was already on my radar dear :] I was thinking about pointellizing her wings to give them sparkle a little without using another color (I have 8) What do you think? Any other ideas? :]]

She's great. I reckon the wings could go with a bit of detail to match the rest. Also she could probably look a bit more psychotic, her expression now is good though.

Terrific style and the fariry character is great. Agreed it should be a bit smaller on the tee. It might look better if you could halftone fade or maybe use a dark to light gradation on the wings so they better integrate with the tee. Also, maybe make the tooth she's holding a bit more like her own teeth, (squared at the top somehow?), so your illo better conveys your concept of greedy/I'm in this for myself, tooth fairy. Anyway, great start, should be really cool when you're done. Cheers!

Thank you for the critiques!

Sjem - We're working on that now, pointellizing them so they look like...sparkly..kind of.

Quister - Thanks, and we'll definitely do that, I agree, thanks for noticing.

Quister - Thanks, I know how to do it, I just am always copy and pasting other peoples links and I lose what I've copied, so I got lazy, but I will definitely do that from now on. :]

Great illustration style. I agree with other comments - make her smaller, give the wings some texture and either make her mouth teeth bigger or the tooth in her hand smaller so they match better. I like it on the light blue. Oh and maybe make the star on her wand bigger?

Thanks Seth - We'll check that out now. We'll upload V2 tonight, does anyone else have any suggestions before we work on V2 some more?

I agree that the wings need some design or texture....nothing strong or overpowering though. Maybe just a little color variation like you did in the skirt.

We're gonna try some halftones and what not on her wings. We were gonna upload v2 tonight but something got taken away from her in the revisions so we're gonna start over tomorrow on reworking the wings and the dust. Her expression, I agree, should be a little more manic. We'll upload it tomorrow then :]

looking forward to v2, like the idea of a freaky tooth fairy :-)
agree with ^ about the wings, and a bit smaller placement would def be better

any suggestions for: 2010:en garde?

I have to agree with almost everyone that you might want to make her mouth larger and teeth bigger. She is adorable. I wonder if you gave her some crazy eye lines if she would look a little more crazy. Love her and the idea. Made me laugh.
If you have time can you take a look at my work not sure where to go with it. Thanks.

The design does need work, seems like most people have already mentioned anything I could recommend, but I will keep an eye out for version 2 so maybe I can help then
Check out my design Somethings's Fishy and let me know what you think. Thanks

i am so scared of that smile! how about a background, or fairy dust, or something that makes it not such a standalone image? maybe she's flying out a window. what if she's missing one tooth? like the one in her hand is going in her mouth?

She could use some detail on the wings... the rest of her has shading so they seem a little block-ish. I like her best on yellow and light blue.

Critique one of mine back if you can?
