I love it. Cracked me up. You must keep the hand- I agree with DanaSpomer, it doesn't make sense without it... And i like the lunberjack like that =D

This is great, keep going with it! I think it can survive with or without the hand... I'll be placement on the shirt will dictate whether or not you keep it in the end.

Hello there. This is a great idea, I'd say keep the hand, add in the colors, and show us the placement. (:

I think the choice is keep the and and get more realistic on the lumberjack or keep the lumberjack and lose the hand. Because now there's a contrast between the two of them. In my opinion: in love the hand, so I would try to go more realistic on the lumberjack. Or maybe lose the lumberjack and only keep the saw. Anyway, love the concept, keep going on with this!

Really like the style of this.. the close up hand looks better in my opinion... would look awesome on a yellow-y tee.

I really liked the character/ personality of the lumberjack in the first sketch. I like how it looks like he's really putting his back into it.



Right now it looks like he is standing in clouds rather than pencil shavings or wood shavings. Maybe make some harder/ more rigid lines?

I think on a shirt it will be to difficult to spot the little deatles inside the sharpener. Try to make the man bigger.

Other then that it's awesome, i'd like to see the position on a tee.

I liked the character from the previous version as well, but I didnt like having a realistic sharpener and hand with a cartoon lumberjack.

I wonder if design the interior of the sharpener would adding more lumberjack's personality?Like tv?bed?or something he really needs.

I think simpler is better - just the lumberjack without that stuff. It's more like he's at work perhaps with just him.

maybe use more solids instead of halftones? I'm not that big a fan of halftones, and I think solids would be "simpler" and perhaps even "cleaner" looking.

I think it'd be best to keep it all on the front of the shirt rather than putting the hand on the back. Love how the pencil sharpener is a little beat up, nice touch!

I think this is awesome...that guy would be super handy! Only comment would be that the shadows inside the sharpener don't really make sense.

Like the concept and the look, really good illustration. I agree that it would probably work better all on the front. Maybe add a little more of the yellow in the shavings on the floor of the sharpener.

hey you people are swell.

You might try playing with the colors a little. Right now the bright white of the pencil sharpener is the first thing I see. If you tone things down a little, it'll make the lumberjack dude stand out more.



BTW, great concept and great illustration!
