I think you should make the text stand out a little more and the ducks beak too, perhaps moving it further down the shirt (hence out of the shirt) and increasing the size of the shadow would do the trick.

I think the problem here is that its on a dark background, and that is why the beak is hard to see. I think a better presentation will solve this. I'll thinka somethin. Thanks... :-)-|----

I like the horizon line, but I think the shadows need to stretch to the wall at more of an angle. As in, move the light source that is casting the shadows to the left or the right instead of dead center.



I'm torn between whether or not I think the horizon line should be rippling water... On one hand it seems logical, but on the other I kinda dig it just being a line...

Yes this came to me while thinking of the phrase "if women don't find you handsome, at least they will find you handy (red and green). In this version I put notes on the wall instead of writing on the wall. A bigger and more obvious bottle opener for thy handy duck. And that's about it. I was also thinking of putting them in water but I am not sure they know how to swim. Ant thoughts and suggestions (big or small) will be appreciated. Thanks.

Honestly, I absolutely adore version 2 and thought it was close to flawless... so my critique is going to be of version two, because I am an overopinionated bitch.



Anyway, I much prefer the handwriting style with the little arrows and random placements of their titles... BUT, instead of using a handwriting font which makes all the "handsome"s look the same, try writing it by hand so each has its own personality and some minor differences.



Also, my biggest gribe is that the little handy duck's beak just doesn't look that much like a bottle opener. I got it, but it took me a few minutes of staring. Maybe work on making it look a little more like a mechanical opener as opposed to a natural duck bill?

awsome ldea, i think v1 / v2 are the best placements, maybe only two ducks in front and 1 behind so its less crowded, as in v1, hand written txt seems like a nice touch too, deffo remove that line behind them aswell as the shadow!

LOVE. It loses a little of the carnival "shooting ducks" thing, but in retrospect I think that distracted from the message anyway... I think you're more than ready to submit. Love this one.

in all honesty, i think i prefer versions one and two. one had a nice randomness to it, if you didn't know the reference it's just a really strange and funny (but beautiful) tee shirt, if you did get it, it's very witty too. number two is just a bit clearer about what it means. i really like them. sorry.

oh hang on, i think i'm being an arse. would these be on the same scale as the first ones? if they're small on the chest i think i like this a lot more.

It's great too see the different versions. I think it works better with fewer larger ducks. I also liked somebody's idea to put a tool belt on Handy to make it more obvious. Maybe V2 with a tool belt?

Very VERY clever! I love t-shirts that play on quotes that we know and turn it into a visual representation that we can all enjoy. It's obvious you put a lot of thought into this. I think this is ready for submission!

The main question seems to be whether or not the more the merrier - V2 or V10. Also if the handy duck should be treated like his hansome friends with a simple arrow or does he deserve the "banner".

I really liked some of the earlier versions, where the ducks were more centered and less in a line. The ducks are beautiful and the concept is amazingly random. :)

I think you should give the other ones bananas saying "Handsome" instead of a word pointing to them.

I think everything gets too small when you have more ducks and it's harder to pick out the detail which is needed for this design. I'd say either stick with fewer ducks or have them spread out more over the whole T-shirt so that you can keep them larger.



I like the banner for the grey duck. Or, alternatively, it would be cute if he were labeled ugly but then have that crossed out and handy written next to it.

Some of the earlier ones were better in that you could read the word "handy" and actually see the duck.

I liked this with less ducks. I think they should all have the scarves that read handsome or handing. I agree that the bottle cap gets confused with the yellow ducks. I love the concept and the illustration. Composition seems like it should be the simplest part, but it ends up giving you the most grief, doesn't it!?

Yeah composition is diff but i think I am getting there... Less ducks, bigger, centered. Maybe a develop it a tad more? Working on it...

i like best version 9, and 2.. with less ducks - in anyway it's pretty cool, gr8 idea, and looks very good as well.. i'de send it in!

Nice art. I might suggest removing the copy altogether. The piece could stand on its own. Remove the "Handy" too, and maybe imply it. Add a tool belt to the duck or something. :)

Well this has been quite a journey. I like V11 here without the scarf and with fewer ducks.

The question now has reduced to which is preferable, V1V2 or this version (V11).

Haha great concept, although I see a major flaw. So the ducks are floating on water right? Bottle caps dont float. Mabye give them some legs and have a few face the other direction.

If it's V2 vs V11, I choose V2. V11 is overdone, IMO. I don't really know the quote, but it think it stands out better with less distractions.
