Have you ever wanted to travel somewhere, but couldn’t because of a language barrier? Well now you can with the first ever International Translation Shirt! All you do is simply point to what you need, and PRESTO you’re on your way! Example you need to go to the restroom really bad, but you don’t know the word for restroom, so you just point to the toilet on your shirt and someone will direct you! I tried choosing items that would cover a broad spectrum of the necessities that people use now days. Does anyone see anything important I have left out, or maybe something that doesn't read too well? All comments are appreciated!

wow this is cool!

i always i had the devient notion that i could carry a small blackboard and chalk with me to draw what i wanted

the items need a little margins between them

now it looks too cramped

The layout on the example shirt is my prefered margins, a vertical elongated composition. I cramped them together just so I could show maximum detail.

I love this idea! is there aparticular reason for using green on a white shirt?

I chose to use a monochromatic scheme of greens on a white shirt, mainly because I felt like it would provide a clean calm contrast, and that green offers a nice variation of lights and darks. I was debating between blues but I'm a bigger fan of green.

This is awesome and I love it :)

Though, I would be happier if it wasn't printed on white.

f-ing brilliant! i luvvv this. hey whats that leaf with a bite out of it next to the toliet? its great now but these are silly suggestions based on my own experience.... toliet paper, the place where all the cool kids hang out, a place to dance, batteries, phone cards and condoms. the green is nice it is friendly. if it doesn't work here send it to Lonely Planet, i bet they would sell it! toodles

i like it, but fix the medical (equliateral) cross, for one thing. also, who needs the following: mountains? a slide? the candies? and most importantly, the leaf that looks like someone took a bite out of it? its a great idea, and i guess i understand mountains, but those other things seem more like place fillers than anything else.

just my 2 cents.

hey the idea's great but still i think that the right part needs some work, it stands out and does not suit the left part. Maybe because it's a bit too clean? I don't know.

bye!

cool!! i love travelling... and i've been in this situation before (language barrier etc). Really smart idea!

Just submit this.. i really don't mind about the detail, the concept is too awesome for me, i'd wear it!

I will deffinitly straighten out the lines on the cross. As far as the slide I was thinking about kids, and that they might need a place to play, or to find the nearest candy store. I added the mountains for the people who like to spend time hiking, biking, skiing and camping. The leaf might seem the most odd looking, but I figured it would be a good indication for vegetarians, and their plant eating ways.
