Made a slight modification to the lines and numbers in the background. I wanted it to not be so blocky.

there is one exactly like this, but with with clue figurines

I think the reason this is differant from the "Clue figurines" (and there's one I saw with Alice in Wonderland too) is that this is the usual suspects for last nights hangover. I think it is totally different from those. I like it.

The image has a dominance issue, though. I think the white lines are too strong, at least on the glasses. You might try a light grey or one of the other inks you're already using. That blue drink in the middle, for example, could maybe be outlined with the light peach?



I don't know how that would look, it could be worse. You might give it a shot though.

that looks nice, but it seems it needs something more. it might be the police interrogating a drunk guy about the suspects, or something else. I don't really know what... but keep working on it, I see the potential.

Great idea but i also think it needs a little more work. The lines on the back does not make it immediately clear that its an interrogation line up. Maybe add more personality to the drinks such as adding tattoos or something more shady to some of them.

I like this way better, steps around that "usual suspects" thing. Oh, and it doesn't need beer, girly drinks are way better. What is 03529482 supposed to be anyway? I think you are better off replacing that one with the Martini.

hmm i think i prefer your original concept. v2 looks the best for me.

v2 or v4 as long as the drinks on V2 also have ID's :)

I like the concept of V2 better but this one looks cleaner. Maybe tidy up V2, but great concept.

Should I add some drop shadows from the drinks?

Or even change up some of the colors?

looks a lote better maybe add some darker shades to the outside drinks since they are not fully in the spotlight.

Clever' clever. Definitely a great idea and I see that you have already put quite a bit of touching up to it since the first installment. I would definitely consider putting some detail into objects as the umbrellas; unless you're going for the clean vector look which is still quite snazzy.

Looks good. The only thing I notice is that the lines of the shot glass on the left is thinner than the other ones. Just an observation. Cheers!

I think the only things that need changed are the olive (the little circle is too big), the pineapple (doesn't look enough like a cup), and perhaps less coloring (as this one has like a billion).

I think you should make the bottom of the pineapple round like the top and make the hole of the cup visible. Does that make any sense? Also, I think there might be too many colors, but perhaps Threadless would just use halftones. You should mention that in your submission.

I heard they can work with more than 8 colors. How many colors should I limit this to? 8 will be tough, and unfortunately, i've already submitted this. I'm guessing they'll reject it. If so, I'll resubmit with less colors.

You can use the color of the shirt as the black color in the design to have one fewer color.



Threadless would use a process called "simulated" to print more than 8 colors.

if you are doing more than 8 colors it can be printed but in a sort of 4 color process sort of way. better to stick to a limited color scheme.

I tried to get the colors down alot. I can only get them down to 16 colors. I adjusted the pineapple drink too. v9 or this version?

The last time I checked, there was a 8 colour limit for subs unless these have changed? With 16 in use, i'm sure it will be rejected.



According to the info I got, shades of a colour also count towards the count. Let me know i'f i'm wrong though...its always good to get updated info! :-)



Other than that, its a really nice design!

Hi Helldozer, instead of a new color for a shade you can place a black dot raster on top of a color. Maybe by doing so you can reduce your colour scheme.

If you're worried about the number of colors, maybe you could have the black tee do the shading. Use dots/stripes instead of solid fills where you want the color to become darker.
