I like the idea but half lions half tigers exist (ligers) and don't look like that. They look like this.

Maybe you should make is a half lion half zebra or other wacky combination. Also I like the idea of the hyenas laughing at him, nut I think it would be even better if there were other animals holding back there laughter. Also it might be funny if the hyenas were really cracking up. Just some thoughts.

haha, yea i know what a liger looks like, is the joke too subtle? The idea is to point out the 'bizarre breeding' and what i think they should really look like. More progress to come!

I'm just saying if a liger exsits and it doesn't look like that, I think the joke isn't working. But it could work with a crazier combo that doesn't actually exist, I dunno, anyone else ring in?

I might loose the crosshatching on the lion/tiger to clear it up a bit, initially I didn't notice that it was a halfbreed. Maybe making the lion half more yellow would make the idea pop more. It is funny, though.

It took me a while to get it, but once i did i laughed heaps. I'm so stupid. Anyway. I quite like the cross hatching and the whole pencil drawn effect has been pulled off really well. Good stuff! :)

I got it straight away. Definitely think about removing the hatching on the body and face of the lion. Some extra colouring in the background may add depth. Nice work.
