Fun idea, I feels like a good start, something about it feels unfinished. Maybe it needs more shading, perhaps another element to go with the monocle. A hat? A cane? I am not sure how I feel about it going out of the frame the way it does, is it meant to be running onto the shirt? The foot does not seem grounded, but I can't tell if that is because it is in the air. Perhaps a shadow, and a hint of the other leg. ≈

I like it! I agree with stuart, though. You need to make it more ironic. What do high society emu's wear when they go out to their preposterous outings? What do they eat and what vehicles do they ride in?

Thanks for the comments! I think it could use both some more shading and perhaps another element. The leg is supposed to be lifted, maybe emu should be a bit smaller to fit the other leg in (or a hat/cane or something).

Well you have a leg there, Perhaps holding a tea cup with a "pinky" up lol...just an idea. funny concept :P

yeah i agree with all these guys. especially with finding some way of framing it instead of having it go off the side of the shirt. MAybe if you're trying to go for an old timey feel you could have the emu inside an old timey portrait frame? its looking good though i like it.

nice illustration so far... although I really think you should put A LOT more detail into it because its a bit TOO simple as it lies :) maybe make the eye piece stand out just a little more than it is already :)

Like everyone else said more detail and some additional elements would make this a win. There is something that is just a bit off to me, maybe something with the scale... can't put my finger on it. Great start though. Hate to ask but I'm struggling with a doodle i did and need feedback so I can make it something presentable/submittable would you mind taking a look? I think I titled it eco-angler. Thanks! Can't wait to see the next version!
