It's an interesting drawing style, but the positioning of the horse's legs makes it look like it's about to fall over. Unless it can balance on its tail?
I added a foal... the legs because of their elongated nature are a little "omg how does it balance?" I tried a few leg poses, some just looked like it had too many joints, others that looked like it had snapped its leg! I will work on the original drawing and see if i can move that left hind leg.
I got the colours by telling it to be those 5 blues (I changed grey tone into blue tones)... I dont quite understand that question....
I wanted a stand-offish pose, a "Who the hell do you think you are?" kinda look... anyway, I thought it might suit a protective stance for a foal.
i think the front legs just need to be a little shorter between the knee and the hooves (for the foal). Also I think that it would look better if the blue adult horse was larger and slightly more centered, with the foal lying at or inbetween it's feet? Just some overlap between the two to create one image... if you know what I mean... at the moment they look a little awkward.
also maybe the adult horses left hind leg should be slightly splayed a little like the front ones are. And with what i was saying above, i just think it would look better as a 'stand off/protective' pose if the foal was sort of lying 'between' the mothers? front hooves. just to clarify :P
Any suggestions on which colour to use, etc. are welcome.
