the compass is now angled to make a wider circle and a more convincing "R."

You could put the other side of the glasses with a little tape at the bottom of the tee or on the back. Maybe have the "NERD" underlined with a ball point pen lying just under the type.

Please crit mine!

The thing is, anyone who would wear this shirt would read it as "pierd."

Oh I thought it read Hero, which I thought was cool like a nerd/hero thing

I'm not sure what the last thing is, is it a glasses lens? It's a real nice concept, maybe put a faint graph lining around the whole thing, and try putting it on that gold shirt like how you have the backournd color.

Check mine plz

if anyone can help me think of a more convincing "N", I'd appreciate it. As is, the other letters are objects, so the Pi symbol is a little out of place as is.

I had mocked it up with a Klingon weapon that resembles an N, but the long blade ruined the placement possibilities.

I will play with the idea of tying the objects together at the bose somehow, I was thinking of a banner treatment of some sort, but outside of a 10-key paper roll, I haven't thought of anything else.

Well, if you're still thinking about a different N... how about... a pocket, with three pens hanging over it, and with the one in the middle at an angle? Hope that makes enough sense to be visualized...

And excuse my OCD, but it might look neater if you aligned the very top and bottom of each letter to two imaginary parallel lines. Hope that makes sense as well...

Nonetheless, I think this is a fantastic idea! ^_^

Oh, would you mind taking a look at my first design that's up for critique?

That's not bad, a fake pocket (complete with protector) with an assortment of pens.

Problem remains that the pens sit inside the pocket, but that's the absolute direction I'm looking for, thanks!

Any suggestions for changing out the "N" for a found object?

Oh, and the "D" is half of a pair of horn-rimmed glasses. I was contemplating adding the broken bridge to make that a little more clear.
