Great concept. Don't care for the execution. Just use the kid (bigger, and a bit more surprised than "tattling") and the title. That makes the shirt the set up, and the readers make the payoff themselves.

the old one was way better, i'd sub the old one and get rid of the white thing, panties is a funny word, keep it! if you are going to include text make it really really subtle, right now its completly overpowering the design

The text is like a punch to the face of the viewer. You might as well have "YOU ARE AN IDIOT" on the shirt because if they can't figure out what is going on, they are idiots.

The problem with version one without the text is, the concept is terrible, and the artwork is poorly drawn in both of them.

The text really detracts. You might want to make the lady look more obviously like Mary Poppins.



I think seeing up her skirt is funner whether or not we know that she is wearing panties.



If you want to give the kid a thought bubble, how about "I see London ..." Or "London, France" ? That makes it a bit less direct and, to me at least, more funny :)

Best version so far, but now there's no way to know it is supposed to be Mary Poppins without seeing the title.

maybe I could put a mary poppins on the sleave?

or maybe speech bubbles with drawings in them and have like something that represents london and france, and then underpants with a question mark beside it.

any more ideas?

i love this on the best, its pretty cool, but i agree with that dude, to tell its mary poppins you need the umberella showin, didn't her umbrella have a parrot at the end? maybe u could do a hand with the umbrealla and her hat with flowers in? hope that helps honey

HELL NO. That's a big hell no.

This version really doesn't make much sense. You can't tell who she is or what's supposed to be going on.

I absolutely adore this concept but honestly I do not believe you have the illustrator skills to pull it off. If you are looking for someone to do it as a collaboration, I would.

if there was any text i would make it very small.

I hate obvious, make people work for the joke and it's more rewarding when you get it.



but the no pantiies is going to be hard to sell, with out text, a very expresive face may do it but thats going to be hard to do.

Show a parent trying to shield one of the kids' eyes. Alternately, use a pictogram speech bubble- if one of the kids says "cat icon" or something like that, it'd be more clear. (Oh, nevermind- I just scrolled up a bit and you've already thought of this. I think it'd be a good move.)

I don't like how she's half off the shirt in the latest version...



But I like your other versions. Maybe show a few color options, and if you use font try to find a fancy one that gives it some pizzaz lol.
