It's a nice start. Perhaps take the character, shrink it down a bunch and repeat it in a swarm - that way you could have a lot of fun with placement.

Or one large wasp, and a plethora of smaller, gray ones swarming on the side in the background.

The only thing I can think of is, what's the point? It's a good looking character, but it needs to become more than that to really do anything for the viewer.
