Ha ha! I love the idea. Maybe try to give the continents some depth by making them 3D (similar to making them thicker, like pancakes or something).

really cool. My only suggestion would be to vary your line width a little.

Cool idea. I agree with Spork about giving the continents some more depth. Right now nothing about this really says breakfast, as opposed to any other meal. Making the continents look a little more like breakfast foods could really help that, I think.

Yeah you're right abouth the lines. nasmo this suposed to be some cereal breakfast, but you're right, I'll try to make it more like eggs or ham or something like it

I agree with spork, adding some depth to the land mass might make them stand out more. Also, what about something like a dirty napkin to set the scene?

I think it looks awesome. It's a very clever and interesting design and the new food labels make it even better. The single-color characteristics of the food keep it from being too busy and make it very eye-appealing.

I think you should get rid of the words and add some color. Right now it just seems a little boring. Good concept though.

I was not expecting this, this is BRILLIANT! One thing I would love to see changed though, simply complete the fork and spoon! Then no awkward cutoff. Maybe you did, that's all I would change.

I like the concept---I think it has potential. I'd consider looking into Risk like maps for some more inspiration on the continents.

It looks much better with the color. You can tell what the foods are without having text to explain it.

I like the idea! it's improved too from v1, maybe have that same orange color for in the glass. Water with breakfast somehow grosses me out, orange juice on the other hand is ideal. You also have some prime bacon colors here but no bacon! heh, i didn't realize asia was beans but then again i never have beans for breakfast, maybe have some more bean shapes/outlines inside the continent. The others were easily identifiable though, nice work so far!



oo, maybe switching australia and new zealand for south america and have SA bacon? It would be more identifiable than the sausage i think which blends in with the beans too much. ok, i'm done

This is coming along nicely. I wonder if it might be stronger without the white outlines of the individual countries, though. I think that might make it look a little more like food that happens to be shaped like the continents rather than continents that happen to be colored like food, if that makes sense.

I'm not sure about the coloring for South America. Is it supposed to be bacon? Maybe you could work some streaks of white in there, or at least add some variation to the brown and pink so that it's not just even line of brown, even line of pink, even line of brown.

Nice work though. I really like where this is headed.

yeah, nice idea, but at the moment, it's slightly too clear that the food = the continents. Apart from the jam and eggs, it's kind of hard to tell what they're all meant to be. Have less defined outlines, the general recognisability of North/South America, Africa and Australia should carry the concept through for less immediately identifiable continents like Europe and Asia.



If you've got the OJ as part of the breakfast (which you do), you could always have a little spill translate into one of the continents, it would help free up some space on the plate too.

creative idea and good subtle colour scheme. i think it's ready to go.

option 2. i don't like the white lines in the first one.

i think you need to make the countries more obvious. what's the brown land mass? which country is it and what type of food is it?

the pink one is africa. the egg is europe. the jam is america. the other bacon is brazil? i would put them in the right places for dumb people like me to know what they are without having to think lol.

but i'm tired, so that is also an excuse!

I think adding some suggestions of lines here and there (or shape or depth - like..round little things) might help the beans - like around the edges. They don't look so much like beans.

i think if you are going to attempt to make the glass and fork and spoon and plate reasl as if you are looking at a plate. you need to make the bread and the eggs a bit more realistic (shading wise) because the things on the plate right now look flat

Looks good, but one quick note about the spelling on the sleeve: it's "chili beans", and Antarctica has two C's.

i agree with cARtOoNer about the realism of the shading. I think with something like the yolk of the egg it doesn't need to be such a precise illustration, because everyone knows yolk as being a more globby and organic shape I think you're safe to be a lot more suggestive of the shapes of those continents. In fact i think the ham and the bacon are the only ones that should be so precisely defined. I think it would add a lot if you played with line thickness a bit more too, the lines seem kind of stale right now. Cool concept overall.

fix the bacon. that's the only thing i think you need to fix. add more detail. it's not very clear.

but i still don't understand what type of food asia is suppose to be.

very good concept. almostthere in execution. id say make the food bigger to take up more of the plate. its fine if they overlap abit as long as the rough shape is clear. give the food the texture they need. e.g. egg yolks somewhat shiny, jam shiny/semi translucent. bacon a little more streaky/curly, beans more lumpy. right now it seems more continental than breakfast :)
