Haha v clever!
The wires look much better thinner, although some still seem to be varying sizes/colors which is a little distracting. Good idea keeping the light bulb one thicker. I'm wondering how it would look with shadows behind them to emphasize that they are hanging(?) It might make it look too busy but it might be worth a try. Stick it on a real tee photo too for that added oomph! :) |

a wild thing on Jul 14 '09 cool idea. the only suggestion i have would be to make one string holding the grass longer than the other, just to break up the strong horizontals....just a thought!

I think its neat idea, but to be honest I really don't see a strong enough concept to be print worthy. If you are really going to push this idea. A suggestion is to give something a little more noticeable the break in the line, like the grass.

Hahahaha... I like this design. It reminds me of a song called survive by rise against. It's about how life is not perfect and w lot of it is fake. I love how you did the bird hanging from the broken string. Only suggestion I have is on the sun. I think you should put the pull chain on the inside of the sun hanging off the side of the light, not directly underneath. Awesome design!

Cool idea. I think it would be worth adding grey to your colour palette and using it to colour your wires.

Liking the wires on this one! I think the thickness of these would vary for more authentity (grass piece would be heavier than the birds). Maybe you can make the grass piece not straight on the bottom and make it bubble out slightly? It will expand this area and also won't look too straight either, which looks a little funny on the t-shirt placement (not in a negative way of course, just looks like it could be expanded). The thin wires are better.
Do you know how to use halftones. You could give your fake world so much more depth with some shadow and highlights in halftones, without increasing your colors? Would you be so kind as to score and comment on my most recent sub? You can link here... I will not write on my clothes. |

idea is nice. but not finished.why this fake world is goin' down on wires?
maybe it should cover real ruined world? or maybe you need some person sitting on the bench in the front? grass I thing need to be a bit angled to the ground :) clouds and sun holding wires doesn't have holes where to bind keep workin' :) |

Arrrrrgg Design: About the wires, I don't know if it's better different sizes in the wires or not, because some objects are heavier than others. I'll try both and I'll decide. About the shadows, I like your idea, I'll try too. And thank you so much for the tee template. A wild Thing: I like your idea. I'll do it for the next version. Girafixx: About the sun, you are right there is no sense that the pull chain is underneath. Tigerbill: The wires in gray perfect idea. OrangeSensation1: My clouds are very easy. I'll try to find the tutorial to make them and I'll send you the link. About the grass, I like your idea. In the next version you can see it. Brighwood: I do'nt know a lot about halftones but I'm learning, I think your point can be great. Smelynai: I'll put holes to the clouds. I like the clouds a lot! I totally agree with having less symmetry with the grass hanging crooked and different sizes of string. It's just a thought, but when you tie a string to something, you sometimes make a bow (well, 3/4 of a bow because the one tail is the hanging string). It might look neat and add to the look you're going for. Just a thought tho :)
