Apart from some morelinecorrections I will have to do some coloring, have any ideas?

Amazing concept!! few pointers in each image is it suppouse to be the same guy getting tortured? because it doesnt look like it. and the guy getting the snot beat out of him by the dino is hard to see and the guy in the doggie position looks a bit muscular to be a child........other wise.....great!

The foot of the dino isn't finished yet. I'm working on it.

It was originally not my goal to create 6 time the same kid.

Is a good idea but I think that would be weird for the barbie section. so I will keep the differences between the kids. Maybe I will add some differences to make it obvious.

will change that muscular factor too.

changed about ten things. kinda idiot to post this as a new version but hey I think it's done here, or is there still something that could improve? (before coloring.)

what about colour? i think this is quite funny. i like it in fact. I think the lego needs to look a bit more 3d and more lego like. i thought it was dominos at first. Barbie is well done though!! What about superman doll comiing in to save the day? maybe not lol

Are they all supposed to be the same boy just in different situations? If so, I think the one about to get his hair cut and the one being ridden by the car don't match as well as the others. Maybe if the one with the one with the long hair was being held up by a barber rather than some hottie with some scissors it might make a bit more sense too. The bondage scene is also a bit disturbing, what if he were just trapped in a corner surrounded by a mob of matchbox and remote control cars etc.?



The others seem fun and fantasy(esque) but the scissors and car are a bit too sexual (in a creepy kinda way) especially since you're talking about childhood.



Don't mean to sound hyper-critical, but I think it's a cool idea, those two elements are just a little off to me.

Don't mind the crappy sketches there just a rough represantation for some ideas to replace the barbie part and the car ont top of kid part. (Don't know what I'm talking about see version 2)

What I wanna say with the design?

Why I left childhood. Takes a twist on how children treat there toys.

After a while the there toys want revenge.

So to escape that I had to left childhood.

And In my design you should see the reasons why.

when you explain it i can really see what your trying to say in the drawing and i think its an interesting idea ... maybe if you changed the title to reflect the more "revenge of the toys" aspect of the design it would be more clear



i think you should keep going with this its a good idea ... are you going to add color?

revenge of the toys was my original title. But I think a title must NOT give al the info away.

I like to think a few seconds, and I even like more to let other people think and stand still for a moment before they catch the concept.

I guess this cuts down on a high score tho but hey.

You should keep true to what you want.

(even when I'm in bad need of money) :P but that are other problems.

OKé here we go to version 4

I've done some unfinished coloring. the lighter bleu will be changed to have some teecolor in the design.

But before I went coloring I've made the linework more interseting (more thinthick difference and added some weight to it, for shadows)

I've also redone the lego (wich was kinda boring to do)

Some other minor changes are done too. (like making barbie more fake By adding a ball thing under her neck)



Well Is this the right colorpallette?

I will change now the kids to look a the same. And will start to work a better car-idea.

Maybe these are 6 illustrations for 6 wonderful t-shirts. Or maybe they could stay on the back, and something else on the front (for exsemple the title of the t-shirt)...

Looks good wih the monochromatic colouring (although if you're a whizz with photo-shop, might it be worth testing out how they look poorly-coloured in, like a child might do?).



The only one I think needs some work is the dino.

a) Unlikely to have nipples (let alone moobs), having been awesome reptiles, rather than feeble humans

b) the arms (specifically the wrists) look a bit awkward to me

c) Is it squatting on a plant, emerging from undergrowth, or does it have three condoms for a right leg? Can't make out what exactly is going on there. On the plus-side, the head looks awesome.

What do you think of the text. (I'm not really a fan on text, but it seems to work here or am I wrong?)

I actually do have time now ^-^(gonna go home soon). The "reasons" and other words should be a bit bigger so they can be read. Grey is definitely the better of the two, the blue is hard to see...it makes the whole thing look washed out. The drawings all look good. Good luck!

I love the idea behind this. I know "contained" designs aren't very popular, but I think the individual scenes would look better done up as snapshots from an instant-develop camera. Just a thought.

@ squeezyballgal. I have looked the design at printsize and the "reasons" are sized to that printsize, so they will be readable for sure ;)

really like the illustrations. Personally I'd go with the cream/gray color on the left.

the illustrations are nice im just wondering how it would look if the illustrations were organized differently on the shirt. Maybe two rows with three pictures on each. maybe make them a bit smaller too.

Since the reasons can't be read by the viewer, you need to list them in your description. It would be even better to do it in a comment here before subbing so you can get some feedback. Even without knowing what they say, I'm not sure they're necessary.



I'm not crazy about the title on the shirt ("font" or how it's stated). It might help to keep it to one line. Some other ideas:

- Reasons to Grow Up

- Childhood is brutal

- Revenge of the Toys

- If Toys Could Play



I agree with others that the illustrations really pop on the cream/tan shirt.

Oooo, I kind of like "If Toys Could Play", but that may not be your original intent of the shirt. I say sub it. REALLY nice!

It just looks great the way it is, I like the shirt being two colored haha wish there were shirts like this...the idea is kinda disturbing but I like it SUBMIT!!

Holy crap I dont know if you meant this dual color shirt to be a sample of each color on the shirt, or if the final product will be split like this. I think I actually prefer it split down the middle like this. Not many, if any, shirts are completely split down the middle into two types of colors like this. Haha god damn def a sub now.
