Pretty funny, but it looks a bit blurry on your presentation.
I think it will be pretty easy to fix it before your final submission.

Well, did you copy and paste the image from a program outside of Adobe? It looks that way--it's better to create it/scan it within the program itself. If that's not the case, the resolution is probably way too low. I'd go w/ at least 300dpi.

AS far as the content--just go with it man and see how people react.:)

This one looks a little less blurry but still kind of pixellated on some edges. How can I get rid of that and smooth it out? I copied and pasted from illustrator to photoshop and then saved for web as gif.

Ha! Looks good to me. I'm not sure how it'll look on a real shirt, it might have to be a tad smaller to not start getting into armpit zone.

Threadless rejected it again but they won't say why. I'm going to try scaling it down to make it a bit smaller like you suggested lisabobisa. If that doesn't work I'll make a new design for it. I wish threadless was more specific. All they said was that it could be better. I wish they'd tell me how.

i think the idea is good but the way its presented has no personality. maybe if you made it more cartoony or something. i dont like the square around it, seems unecessary.

Threadless wouldn't take it the way it was so I changed it up a little and added a back.

They're still not going to take it because of its content. I doubt that the previous rejection had much to do with the execution.

Really? They've got worse content than this. They didn't say it was because the content was inappropriate in the e-mail. Don't they say that if that is the reason that they reject it?

That's odd.. I thought that they would put the rejection reason in the email.. I think if they specified what it was and it wasn't the content, that you should be fine.. but then again.. I wouldn't know.. and you're right they do have way worse things lol.. so I can't imagine it would be the content..
Anyways, I like the new design! The front looks better without the entire tee being taken up. And the back is clever lol. I think it looks good. Maybe a small border around 'Emergency EXIT' would make it look a little better. But that's all I could suggest!
And if you're not busy, a comment on my first submission would be much appreciated!

hm if threadless keeps rejecting it, it might be the content.. who knows. their rejection reasons arent usually very detailed at times...

All they said was that I should use the critique tool. I guess I didn't get enough critiques or something maybe. Is there a certain number of "send it in" votes that you have to get?

nah it's not a certain number of "send it in"s or anything, i once did no critiquing and got it approved, and did horribly, and another time i went four versions and got 8 "submit this"s and it got rejected with the "needs work" reason
it's not bad, i'd say try submitting it, if it gets rejected again, try doing something completely new with it, i think that something simple like this tend to have lots of potential for one of those "!" moments where you just think of something great

If they keep rejecting it, it probably is the design itself. It is just essentially text on a shirt, and I think Threadless requires more of a design aspect to it for it to be accepted.

hmmm... may be you can use humor with the texts or add some graphics? or like ask yourself this question.... is this the kind of shirt that i can always wear? :)
