A cute little design I came up with while everyone was sleeping. Who can resist an old school cassette tape? :]

I think this is really well designed but my only fear is that the cassette tape is being over done on threadless lately. Its really cute though. how'd you get the font like that. did you hand draw it yourself? it looks really nice. well done though. only thing i would work on would be to add some shading to the tape.

I, too, have noticed a lot of cassestte tape designs floating around on Threadless. But I really like your design, creative use of the magnetic tape.



Perhaps using headphones? Just a thought.

Headphones would be cool. ^^ It might be harder to create the look with just one cable, but I bet you can do it. ^^

looks kool my only suggestion would be to take the tape and put it up by the right shoulder and stretch the design to take up more of the shirt. to me it just looks like it's too low, i know that works for some shirts but i'm not feelin it so much for this one. voted tho :) this is AJ btw

Also, I'm working on re-drawing the headphones. I realized that I could probably draw them out better than that, so this is a rough draft! I just thought I'd get opinions of the design in general ;]

Hate to tell you waht I really think but i think that headphones are only marginally better than a tape. Tapes are definitely overdone. Headphones are done (especially places other than threadless) but if you can make it look really really cool then it might go over.



No idea for you really, but I agree that you need to work on the redrawing of the headphones. The notes are confusing and distracting for me.



Maybe the cable can be coming forward with exxagerated perspective, so that by the time you get to "forever" it's really big and the plug points right at you.

I think this design is a little better then the original but it needs more line variety in the cord and lettering. the headphones need work as well because they look too rushed. I think the idea is good but maybe over done.

I'd suggest thickening the headphone cord a bit more, also it could be just me, but the "is" is hard to read.

The thickness of the cords varies when the cords are notes, but that seems a bit odd. What about making the entire cord the boldness of the notes?



Also, I notice that the design is a bit unbalanced since one headphone is almost solid, while the other has more detail. Could you remove some ink from the more solid, father away one, so it doesn't grab all of the attention? I like this drawing!
