I changed the shadow to look more like a heart....

yeah, but the shadow doesn't fall correctly... see how the one foot of the robot on the right inst casting a shadow now? i'd move the door to the left a smidge... and maybe lighten up the robots a shade or two so you dont have to look so closely..... but it's a great idea... i'd wear one!

Fixed the shadow problem and moved the door to the left, also added a line on the trashcan so it looks more like a trashcan

love it - took a while to work out the trash can and droid, but I like that it isn't obvious straight away. Only improvement I would work on is getting those smooth clean robot curves - ... maybe no need for the heart at top as the shadow is the heart - very clever !!

i like the overall idea of it, and the design of the trash bin and robot are great, but i'm having a little trouble with the placement of the design. maybe it would help if you moved it down an inch or two, and on the left of the shirt, the lighted doorway looks a little awkward. if you can do something to change those, i think your shirt would look great :D

yeah!!! as a star war fan i loooved it!! i always thought them trash cans looked like a r2droid. so as soon as i saw the design i know what it was! love the Design!! i would want one!!

maybe just find a way to show more the shadow heart...

for instance, if the robots were closer to the door

their shadow would be longer and thiner at the beginning..

oh.. and i havnt noticed its a trashcan... maybe you should put

a little sticker on it.. something like this:

I added the trashcan symbol, not entirely sure how if I like it but i need to find a way to say "this is a trashcan!" somehow...

This is SO AWESOME!! Love how the shadow echoes the heart.



A few suggestions, if you're interested:



Maybe get rid of the circle around the trash can sign - it's not quite jiving with the rest of the can - or at least a much thinner line.



Maybe a little crushed can as a detail net to it? And a little less shadow on the robot - so we can see a little more detail on him too?

took the circle out of the trashcan logo, added a tiny bit more color to the illuminated side of the robot...

I still love it and I'll buy it when you get it sold!:)



If there any way R2 can slightly "caress" the trash can with one of his robot extremities?? It might show alittle more affection.



But I would still buy it as is.:)

Oh man - what if he leaned his head up against him and they were looking at the stars?? Wait....a trashcan would not be outside.

its like the little lever that keeps the lid on on those foot pedal type trash cans

should I move the heart more over the robots head so it signifies he's expressing love for the trashcan rather than have it in between the two?

Could the heart be some sort of indicator light bleeping on his body?? You have all the black so it would really stand out.

Really funny! What about making the hard more curved, to fit with how everything else is curved? Also, since so much is shadowed, you could probably get away with using an R2D2 blue instead of red.
