I was inspired by a flock of birds flying together in the early morning and thought that it might be a cool tee idea. I'm thinking that the Birds could be embroidered, but I'm not sure how to represent that or how detailed the embroidery can be. Should the birds be more representational or stay stylized, but thicker?
Any thoughts on how to push this further would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Cool. Thanks. That's kinda what I was thinking. Like a little thicker at the "body" and thin out toward to the wings, just to give them a little dimension. Thanks for the feedback.
The embroidery is a great idea. Are some of the birds intentionally upside-down, or are they just at a different wing position? This is slightly confusing. Overall though, very nice colors and patterns so far.
Okay, I'm pretty happy with the birds in this version. I still want to embroider them, but now I've added a little dimension to them while still keeping them pretty stylized.
The main question now is, how do you all think the sky/sun vortex is working? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Ha maybe it's just me but this shirt makes me feel like falling up (if I could). Anyway I do really like the 'feel' of it.
Oh since you're asking about the sky/sun area It kind of reminds me of a tie dye shirt or dry brush strokes. I'm not sure if that's what you're aiming for.
This is cool! I like the colors and V2 is an awesome improvement! I think the white lines for the vortex-y part could be a little less uniform, but that could just be a personal preference.. Awesome job so far though!
Wow...this is great! I like the simplicity of it. I think the white lines could go perhaps? Would be nice if it was jsu the yellow and blue...but then what do I know? I'm an orange!
I'm was wondering what program you used for this? Is most people here using Photoshop/Illustrator and is the Flash users a minority in the world of Threadless?
Any thoughts on how to push this further would be much appreciated. Thank you.
