according to the politburo, soviets was the first to walk on the moon but they could never prove it. this design is about the truth, straight from behind the iron curtain!

looking good. not 100% on the third ufo in front of the earth (a bit visually cluttered)... maybe lose the ufo, or lose the earth, or adjust their placement somewhat?

I think i need to see this developed further to make an educated critique. Right now it looks (clearly) unfinished and the colours are a bit harsh. I'd like to see the direction this takes.

Can you critique my new one? It's Castles of Sand.... Still in early phases as yet, trying to develop the idea, but I'd love your opinion.

Smooth up your line art. The earth is spikey, the UFO's are spikey, everything is spikey. If you round out some of the smoother surfaces, you'll have a better look design over all.

currently im really into the jagged, planar style. might smooth it out later if it fits better.

anyways. im working on more details on the "zapped" comsonaut.

also, im pretty happy with the UFO composition as is but the background... that is probably going to change and i have it as placeholder right now

this is turning out to be a huge technical challenge for me but i think it looks kinda freakin cool =)

background still placeholder. also, the moscow church profile is something i just added to the 640x800 img when i had the idea. might be something i add to final.

pretty badass. the third ufo seems a bit stranded now... maybe it was better before because its placement suggested the progression of movement for the other ufos and made it more dynamic.... not sure how to resolve it with the earth overlap though. cool job on the cosmonaut

second laser attack from the hanebu in the back helps bring "into the action" i think =)

there are 2 colors in the design right now. greys are supposed to tee color and tee color is gonna be dark blue. lineart/black area aswell.

2 colors for moon surface/ufos/2nd cosmonaut should be enough.

Cool design. I am not a fan of the boxed in designs though.

I love it. The text along the top will look cool, I think you should have more text or somethin along the bottom, maybe make it look like an old movie poster look? Or have the monster go right down to the bottom and off the shirt. Colours deffo need work, but you have that sorted, the design is great.

are the buildings at the top right the kremlin? Im not sure people will understand the whole soviet thing just seeing it on a shirt, but they look great.

I really like how its coming, the eye balls on the guy getting zapped are great, but they and the earth are a bit boxy, need to round them out.

The second laser helps i agree but maybe make a small bit of fire where it exits the space craft?

the design is not supposed to be super obvious. just cool to look at and IF you know what you are looking at (soviet LK that never made it to the moon, hanebu nazi conspiracy etc.) its even cooler.

the idea behind the design is that the soviets indeed were the first to walk on the moon but the nazis attacked and they couldnt prove it! hilarious.the politburo is trying to explain with this artits depiction =) also, former nazi scientists working for nasa (truth, Wernher von Braun for example) would make sure the usa were the first to walk to moon.

hilarious and non-serious conspiracy design to those that know what they are looking at and just "very cool" to people that dont =)

the earth kind of blends in with all of the burnage. changing the colors to match whatever you decide for the background will help.

usually, if its done well, it works. box-designs usually look bad because most attempts are bad, not because the box is bad.

Like the composition - though in the skeleton - a little more contrast? not sure how you'd achieve it, but the actual skeleton gets a little lost in his outline. Is the text a placeholder? (kidding....)

Pretty interesting idea, and I like the design so far. You should go another step in showing the connection between the title and design (as in showing that they're from the USSR). I see the buildings in the top right corner, but at least to me it isn't yet clear. Perhaps this is where the text could tie in.

great idea for text! the cosmonaut in foreground has a CCCP patch =) and the lunar lander is the soviet LK. its not supposed to be super obvious.

also, skeleton will show better when i move the design over to illustrator and change to color of the greys to "none" meaning navyblue (tee color)

ive started working on the background now. there was no reason not to put a pyramid in =)

colours are NOT final. what you are seeing is the general colour scheme.

still some work left to be done with the text portion of the design.
