No suicide. That tends to involve falling, being below your starting point. He has gone upwards. He is flying.

Unless he is really good at jumping... If he jumped from the bell tower im seeing that he could reach such a height just before falling kicked in...

Fair enough. I could get him further from the bell and make everything a little bit smaller.



However, I don't know about how you would commit suicide but I wouldn't use such grandiose hand gestures. If he is falling, then I see diving more than death.

You should maybe put a little reference that make us do the link with superman. But there is the problem of copyright, your reference should be smart but not too obvious !

Moved Mr Flying-Monk further from the tower and added a nice fading streak-of-super-fast-movement.



Still 6 colors, but requires a little gradient printing now.

And...

if the fading streak would be in a white scale?

Or light blue on blue...

I like the idea let me know how is gonna be the next version...

I was going for the streak being the color of his robes moving so fast that it blurs as the subtle hint to Superman (red streak from his cape). I wouldn't want to add a new color just for the streak. I could use one of the lighter brown colors (from his legs/belt) for the streak but I wouldnt want to go so far as to lose the contrast with the light blue.

I tried it out and the lightest color from his skin/belt seems to hold up its contrast with the blue just fine as it fades and helps his legs not blend into the streak!

Your defiantly on the right track thanks for putting up with my moaning... but the trail doesn't quite work style wise needs to be less uniform and more in keeping with the rest of the illustration...
