its really neat. and unlike some other designs like this I like this one because it stands out but isn't to overdone. I agree though try mixing some colors of the notes. Oh and whit t-shirt is best
I kind of prefer it with plain black symbols. that way its surprisingly bland in a good way though, if you know what i mean. what do you guys think? I could be wrong but I'm just going on my gut feeling.
hm my main problem with this right now is those black keys on the keyboard. usually theyd stick out more than the white keys, but in this theyre completely flat which makes it like more like a painted box rather than a keyboard
I thank all suggestions that have given birth to this current version. Don't we all want a shirt that would enhance our air-keytaring?
A question on colors: This is just at 8 I think. But what about the black notes that fall under the 3 layers of outlines that are not fully opaque? do those all count as extra colors and if so, how should i go about remedying that?
Well, I reckon that there is a mighty fine keytar. The background stars are just killing it for me, though. They look really...I dunno...like little decorations that would come in a scrapbook kit or something. They don't say "TOTALLY ROCKING KEYTAR" to me. Maybe you could try this: make the shirt color black, make the stars themselves black, make the symbols inside the stars white (or blue or magenta) and pack them much closer together so that you won't even need the outlines because you'll be able tell that they're stars just from where the symbols get cut off. Whew. Hope that all made sense. I think that way the keytar would jump off the shirt more, and you'd have some nice stuff going on in the background.
Am loving the new star backgrounds... not loving the keytar shadow though... its taking over too much. Needs something smaller and less in your face... something to highlight the keytar not take attention away from it!
I agree, totally into the keytar idea, and dig the stars... but something about the instrument seems flat all around, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Kind of has the remnants of South Park style animation.
