ha! wicked. blurred frame doesnt quite match the image clean cut style of the image. But i think its mint without blood, creates more tension. unless maybe the frame was blood spatter? i dunno.

I think if you do blood it should be subtle. I find the illo a bit dark right now as well... distracting with that black halo....like to see it on a shirt....

i think a white shirt, try allowing the lines of the window and wall break free of the design a bit, extending into the negative space of the shirt.

I agree - the one thing that I am getting comments about is not having your design "boxed in" - extending the lines out is a good idea.

I agree. Dont let the design be boxed in. And i really like it otherwise. How about making the guy about to have his throat slashed, a fly instead of a human being? Frogs kill and eat flies right? Just an idea

Yep agree with others - dont box it in. Maybe you could blend it gradually into the black background. Cool idea.

Slight rework, brining in the black background for use with a black shirt. Do you think that will help it look better? not so boxed in?

it'll help if you put it on the shirt template to see first, bc right now u have the windows which will be boxed off, if u get it on the template, u might be able to expand the windows so it can engage the tshirt as well.

Maybe complete the window and then put it on a T template.

I agree about the red. The artwork is fantastic!

I don't know, it's a great idea but looks a bit rough. Maybe extend his butt to the floor or put a stool under it, the stance doesn't seem right. The guys neck and chin needs more delineation and maybe longer hair to better separate him from the toad. Maybe some shoes sticking out from under the barber cloth. Anyway, very cool idea. Cheers!

Red for sure :) I like how its coming along. A little lower would be good also. Perhaps use a gradient on the window glass from white to black on the top two squares and then half tone it? Just a thought. Keep working, its looking good :)

Ok! I added some blood, the text, a bit of a smile on Sweeney, a frown gasp on the victim, some shoes for the victim, and a bit more shadowing. Can anyone tell me if photoshop allows for half tone? Also, just to be sure, is half tone where an image fades off in little dots? Sorry for the Newbie ?s!

Select 300 per inch if you are going for high quality.

At the bottom select half tone screen as method.

Click ok.

Then select frequency from anywhere to 20-60 lines per inch. Depends on you, just have to mess around with it.

Select angle as 45.

Shape as round. And click ok. Tada, your halftone image is ready. ALl the above settings depend on personal preference though.



After creating a halftone image, you can paste it in any vector program and trace it if you want. Tracing is a processor extensive task though, I think so you may have to wait a bit. Anyway, good luck :) Loving where this design is going.

Brilliant. It looks much better now :) I wouldnt go for text though. But if you feel you must, remove toad, since its obvious. Photoshop does allow halftones but I recommend you save before trying it.

well after the movie most people will recognize it even without text. it looks good though.

Yeah, I agree. Ditch the text and it will be good. :)

Definitely lose the text. I'd like to see more of the room's interior, maybe something outside the window too.



Also, I'm getting some Kermit vibes off of Sweeny...maybe make the poor sap in the chair resemble another Muppet? ;)

Nice drawing. I would make sure that there are no sharp cut offs by the window. Make that edge more embedded in the design.

I'd like to see the blade too. I think that would give it a bit more punch.

It is nice, I miss just the razor. It is too mixed with the rest of the design.
