hehe it's nice... the eyes are missing? :)To me, It's too flat...maybe you can try to use those green tones to add some shade, and try to do the same to the pink monster, too.

I agree with clearcut, adding some details would make it more appealing, maybe adding stumps to the trees and something to on the gtround like leaves!!!

The monster is furry now, and I added some simple details to the trees...

different color shirt. like blue or purple :]

Love the characters and the colors in the design. Maybe add something in the background to transition to the shirt color (i.e. texture, shadows, birds, clouds)?

yeah great drawing. i'd like to see even more detail in the trees - some shadows or something. and absolutely a different colour shirt - dull cream doesn't do this justice!

Do you think the tree trunks need to be there? the reason i ask is because the design is currently at 8 colors...i was going to add a face to at least one cloud, but i didn't just want it to be the shirt color showing through "face holes" in the cloud. any suggestions would help.



also, on the topic of shadows...where exactly do you think they should go. in my opinion, for the style it looks fine w/o shadows, but several people have thought otherwise. could any one be a little more specific, please?

looks good. i think you should get more details out of those eyes though....and i think they way they're drawn right now wont allow much more detail...so you might want to redraw those eyes...to something less generic looking. y'know what i'm sayin'?

Well I have to agree with everyone on the kid thing. There's something about the clouds that doesn't sit right with me. Maybe another one needs a face? If the monster was brown he could be big foot. Just an idea. Overall this is looking good!

I kind of liked the eyes from v.8, but the current version works well also. All the other changes are great, and I like 'Lil Tree Hugger as well :)

Allan: I think i got ya! i'm playing with moving the eyebrows to the sides...it's more of an excited expression - i like it!



Dexter: these trees go ALL the way to the ground! :P there were trunks in V2 and V3, but i'm not sure that i like them, or that they even look right

i think it's dope the way it is.

a few minor changes

-changed some eyebrows

-kept eye style, but redrew them (turns out i do like V9 eyes better than V8 eyes!)

-the title will be "Lil' Tree Hugger" instead of "Tree Hugger"...emphasizing it's for little kids...and us big kids too! ;)
