i think it would be clearer if the camel is standing instead kneeling... or is he running? if you use the same color for the sand as for the camel, it's hard to see what's what...
and maybe it'll work better on a lighter/warmer tee color, so the desert heat helps the story.

thanks for all the comments, yes the camel is on the move! in my next version i will try out a lighter color and show the placement of the t-shirt :)but somehow i still like black quite abit, it brings out the colors stronger

by the way i keep the transparency of the camel back, show casing the in-build water bottle! coz that's the whole idea of the illustration! :)

ah, great improvement with the dust!
but looking at it's legs, it still seems a bit he's lying on the ground with his belly. maybe the legs are connected to high to his body (esp his front right leg)
maybe by adding some groundshade underneath, you'll get it right.

except I almost like the dark background not the yellow shirt. It gives it more contrast

wow! Really excellent style, that's a 5 from me in sub for sure. I agree that the shadow will be a nice touch. I also prefer the general feeling and atmosphere on dark background. It will be a superb sub ;)

I prefer the dark shirt, but not crazy about the halftone "starburst" behind the design. And i agree with the above comments that a bit of a groundshadow would help quite a bit.

nice! except i agree with mtths the camel does look like he's lying on the ground. maybe enlarge his legs a litlle and bring them further under him.
try playing with the size of his humps too.. make them a little bigger with more water

Don't they call those back packs with water for hiking "Camel Backs"? That might be a good name for the sub: Camel Back... unless it isn't well known enough.

Nice illustration. The perspective is great. However, I would also vote for adding a shadow and maybe adjusting the legs a bit so it doesn't look like the camel's lying down. And I'd be curious to see this without the sunburst...I don't know if it's really adding that much right now.

I'm bothered by the bright yellow patch under the camel where a shadow should be. I'd be happier if it was darker. Other than that - this is great - very well drawn.

I agree about the shadow...it looks kind of weird that it's lighter than the surrounding ground, especially since you've already used that same yellow as a highlight elsewhere on the camel. Maybe you could try using a brown halftone for the shadows. Other than that, it looks like this is just about ready. Nice work.
