also try maybe playing with the lettering so all the letters dont look the same. It bothers me that the two Ts look exactly the same. Maybe add some of your own scratchy effect
Hmmm... I guess the design really just isn't doing it for me... I think it's a funny idea, though. I don't think you need the retro embellishments, maybe just the text in something like this: http://www.dafont.com/marcelle.font?nb_ppp=50 -- more of the current generic destructed font?
The only thing I like about this design are the ink colors. It's probably your point, but the fake vintage look is too cheesy & trite. And something that could be found in many Mart type store being sold for $7.99....and NOT something I'd buy from a more artistic website for $17.
@mezo-I think travioli was intending this to be a satiric commentary on the shirts you mentioned. The "I just bought this!" is making fun of the people who go out and buy "designer" clothes that are already ripped, torn, faded, painted, etc.
