I think the car should be a Hummer/SUV-looking vehicle

I was thinking that too....do you think that would be too much of a stereotype though? I didn't just because the others are focused on the most basic FORM of transportation.

It's probably safer to stick to a basic car.

I wouldn't think it's too much of a stereotype. Big people driving big vehicles is a common idea, like cowboys having bow-legs.

I was also toying with the idea of something ridiculously dangerous and then having a grave at the end or something....

Maybe a dirt bike or a motorcycle doing a wheelie or going off a jump, then have a guy with crutches and bandages?

for the last one, that you haven't added yet maybe a patriotic painted dirt bike and a guy with a cape with an arm in a sling, a leg in a cast and a big bandage on his head.

I'm not sure about the wheel chair/muscle man. I guess the disconnect is the fact that he's standing so I don't relate him to needing a wheel chair. Maybe a wheel barrow or a palanquin?

Oooo - I like that idea with the patriotic dirt bike. That way I could use mostly silhouettes with light accents (for the stars and stripes on the bike and bandages on the guy etc.)

uhm, instead of the wheelchair, a tennis player? or a javelin launcher? :) i mean, someone on the wheelchair cant avoid it and just stand up...

leave the wheelchair! i know it is a bit the same concept as the bike-dude, (muscles thanks to the transport, while the others have other effects then muscle-growth) but i like him!

The reason I didn't do a tennis player, javelin thrower, bodybuilder thing was that it's supposed to be transportation and it's effects. I like the wheelchair but maybe I can figure out a way to show him without making it look like he's standing.

Muscle guy + steroid bottle = hearse?

Awesome! The crutches really helped me get over the standing thing. Love the Evel Knievel addition, makes for a great ending. Great concept, should be fun watching this progress. Cheers!

it might be a little troublesome, but thinking that it might look better if the riders are standing together with the vehicles. but yours is a good formation though. idea is an ace!

Okay, things I'm wondering....



1. Does it makes sense.

2. do I need to add in either an arrow or equals sign between the transportation and effect of it?

3. What do you think about adding in little action marks around the effected areas?

it makes sense and no you dont need any signs, but the wheelchair guy and motorcycle guy are pretty similar ideas. you may want to think about that.



what about mine

well the difference between the two is that the wheelchair guy is supposed to have muscular arms because he uses them to get around, while the motorcyclist is negatively effected by his mode of transportation...

I think these updates really help, you?

I like the action marks on the 4th guy, but the first 3 guys' marks look a little "off"

how so?

to me, they give off this sort of tassle look. they seem a little too rounded around the body parts.

if I'm totally missing the mark or talking out of my ass, please disregard me!

I just rode a 50 mile bike ride today, so I'd have to say both the legs AND calves should have marks for the bike rider. I really like the style of this. And colors.

I like this! But I think it would be better with just the bicycle + man, horse + cowboy and motorcycle + dude. It would be simpler, and three looks better than four in my opinion.

I am almost agreeing 3 mights look betterand the man in the wheelchair most likely was injured to be there which takes affect away from your last image.

I liek the fact that the wheelchair guy uses his arms to get around which contrasts the tohers, but I understand that it does make it seem like he was injured which takes away from the "punchline".



I'd like to fill up the whole front of the shirt and I think that 4 is going to be better than 3 for that as well.

well if you are set on four try finding another activity that you feel in your arms such as working out or something else that doesn't take away from the "punchline" for me now it didn't stand out as much as it could because I knew the punchline was the end but the wheelchair man made it seem contradicting. Because I would rather break my arm and leg then be stuck in a wheel chair 'knock on wood'. You know what I mean
