Hey guys! This is my new WIP. The idea is quite simple: The Earth's shopping in the supermarket's cosmetics section. She is buying the latest release of the skincare market: Genocide Skincare. This product has 3 different formulas all based in natural disasters: Earthquake, flood/tsunami and heat/cold waves. The Earth, tired of the mistreatment of men, decides to get rid of humans. Meanwhile, the Moon plays with his rocket Apollo 11 and the austronaut in the cart :)

Questions:

1. Which layout is best?

2. I need to put some groceries in the cart. Any suggestions?

3. Do you like it?

I like option B I think.

B. The background won't compete as much for attention with the Earth.

I like option B the best, its less busy. I would even say have the Earth just shopping at a small stand inside the store. Or maybe like at Costco how they give out free samples? Maybe he could be getting a free sample?

how does it relate to genocide?

I definitely think B is better, it works better on the tee, whereas A seems too rigid

B is better I guess.

B!!!!! in the cart you can put what Francesa said :) i agree with her. Maybe put those items inside a packaging, it's a lot of work, i know! eheh or those grass carpets ...

B, I think as far as groceries it should have endangered species, petroleum, bad, destructive stuff in general

( the one thing i prefer from layout A is the fact that it's closer and easier to read)

I need to add the groceries in the cart and the skin care product in the floor stand. Still not sure about the colors...

It should say "deforestation" not "deflorestation" and I'd not have "the" there either, so just "reduce deforestation."

I'd probably say "carbon dioxide emissions" snd also not have "the" in "slow down the warming" but I'd substitute another word like "slow down global warming."

yeah genocide is not the right word.... i don't know what you think the definition is but it's not about killing all humans...in fact it's a killing of only a certain group of people. and it has to be systematic as well. i can't think of any other word to use though, that's a tough one....

those colors are kick ass though...but i don't like the red background.

I was thinking, can I use those organics tee colors from the Loves Green challenge? Like Pomenagrate , Galaxy, Dijon... is that allowed for regular subs?

annihilation, elimination, eradication, or even plain old destroy...all seem to fit better than genocide.

I think Extinction is the right word. But searching on the internet, I read that genocide is a synonym for extinction. That's why I keep insisting on using that word ... :P

Extinction: is the death of every member of a species or group of taxa.

Wonderful idea, those humans are nothing but a nuisance anyway. I think I'd like for there to be one bottle left because it seems to me that the Earth is reaching for nothing. Perhaps I'm misinterpreting though.

Great concept and the illo is coming along nicely.

Maybe just a general product name similar to the ones they use for repellants and insecticides; MAN-OFF, HUMANICIDE, or MANICIDE. I don't get that that it's a skin care product but if you go that way, maybe HUMA-BLOCK or HUMA-SCREEN. How about TER-MAN-ATOR, TER-MAN 8 or MAN-BE-GONE or :P

As far as claims, maybe more absolute promises; END GLOBAL WARMING and STOP DEFORESTATION. REDUCE CARBON EMISSIONS is good because fauna needs carbon to live.

I think FLOOD would be better than TSUNAMI it's more global in nature and a direct result of global warming.

quiste: I don't think someone would sneeze an insecticide in himself to get rid of a pest:) But I understand your point of view, but the idea is that with this product the Earth will be more beautiful! That's why I choosed a skin care product. Your suggestions were excellent! Less text, more direct... just perfect! Thank you so much!

I think I'll make an option using those organic shirt colors. I don't know if it's allowed maybe I should put as an option:)

Rodrigo very nice, just noticed a little thing, the perspective on the stand is falling a little on the right can you see it. try to follow the lines you put on the floor, will give it a much better perspective. Love the colours nice

Haha! This is looking great. I love the clouds around the globe and the colors are terrific. I think the organic colors are available since they announced them in the green comp. Not sure though, best to start a blog and/or write threadless.

The only thing wrong that I can see is the shadowing. The display case shadow doesn't quite fit with the other shadows. Either the top of the globe and shopping cart should be included in their shadows or the display case should have a shorter shadow, no? I hope that made sense. Also, I just noticed that the moon looks like it has a face on the back of his head. Could be just me =]

quister: I was trying to make the shadows really simple, not realistic - just like my "caught Miming" sub - but I think I failed hahaha... and now I can see the "moon face" hahaha... I will fix that too :)

You didn't fail, I like the simple shadows, just shorten the one you have for the display case, I think? Just looked at "caught miming", it's way funny and the design, illustration is terrific. Cheers!

This turned out really well! :) I think it could probably even be a little larger on the shirt, especially if you don't want anybody to miss those awesome and important details on there.

weird stuff. i like it. my initial impression is that you should simplify it, because there's almost too much to take in. i think you should try to get the idea across in a more graphically efficient way. might be fun to make it look even more like an advertisement, i love the the earth is prancing like a 50s housewife. some more of that modernist advertisment imagery might be good.
