Colouring: the main thing has to be strong contrast between below and above sea level, but so far I don't know if I go for big masses of colour or try to keep the below surface light and line-based.

i think this is a great shirt right here but threadless seems to frown on subtlety and simplicity so id go all out with the colour. go nuts. flouro, spray, clashes, overlays, everything you think of.

I am thinking that the sea line could be embroidered, maybe blue also

I would add some details to the fish and render the scales so it look more rounded. I would add a dorsal fin and a couple of small stomach fins. The scales should receed in size as they go around the fish's body. I would also add some blue to the creature's eye. Nice job! Thanks for looking at Re-Gurger King.

The fact that the giant blobby fish shape is actually attached to the eye is completely lost to me when I look at the latest.



I think the white cloud behind the eye is conflicting a bit with the black/white line art of the eye itself. In fact, I'd rethink the look and placement of all the clouds in general.

Hello there.. Hm, imo, I think the halftone effect, doesn't work for me, because of how the creature is drawn. It's like kind of hard to match, the style of the way the creature's drawn and the halftone.



I think it'll look better if you went back to doing the water how it looked like in version 1 and 2, and rework it, I just prefer it that way. (:

I like it alot. My only issue is that the "shadow" of the eyeball stalk under the water is a different color than the rest of the body.



It makes it look like its two different creatures.

i think the half tones on the ocean suggest a surface, but it should look like a cut-away, like in version 1 and 2. also the shadow should be lighter than the sea.

the half-tone makes it look like you can see the surface of the water, not a cut-away like in version 1 and 2 which is what you want. it looks like his head is right on the horizon line, which is decapitating him. and the shadow needs to be darker than the water. the top one is the bizzle!
