Fantastic art/concept! I think with some work you can make it a valid equation which will get you mega nerd points. I would also consider adding a bumpy texture to the chalk lines. playground blacktop is always really rocky and it destroys your chalk. Other than that, submit!

very cool! maybe add a few pebbles on the ground so the hopscotch grid is a little less "floaty" if you know what I mean.

i agree with benrolien, the concept is clever and the design is very well drawn, but if the girl has an expression annoyed, it would be even smarter. anyway, right now, the design could be sent as it is, but you have the potential to win, so, perhaps a little more work on the playground too, and the girl's face could be the difference ;)

Thanx to all! I add some background to make it less floating, and i try another expression on that girl. It was supposed to be surprised, but annoyed works pretty good, too :) even better. stay tuned.

agree about the expression.. i actually thought it was supposed to be the teacher. also seems to me that the vanishing point for the hopscotch is slightly too high. and why hasn't he got glasses???

i added the background and i choosed the 2nd facial expression, it's more funny than the first one :)

yeah! nice improvments, really. the background is a nice touch. 2nd expression is the best. maybe she could looks (just the eyes) on up direction (my english ouch sorry) like she 's exhausted...? (and my previous idea was kinteresting in your opinion?)



and, have you tried different combinations of colors, with another color tee? even if it fits the playground of course...sometimes, changes of "values" of colors, background tee etc. give a big boost.

Great idea and terrific illustration! I'm a little late, since this has progressed so much from V1, but I'll offer my opinion and see what you think. The expression on the girl is terrific but her gesture seems to go more with the V1, (surprised) expression than this expression. I think having her hands on her hips would better support and convey her emotion (annoyed) as it is now.



Anyway, just one person's opinion. Your call! Either way, it's a great idea and rendering, a fun/witty shirt, and you can expect a high score from me. Cheers!

This is an adorable t-shirt. I only wish you had kept the girl's first expression - I'm a chick and my boyfriend loves math, and I think it's awesome. So I don't want to get him this t-shirt and have people thinking his girlfriend doesn't approve of his mathi-ness! :)
