also, the main blue on the t shirt is apparently darker, like in the image of the guy wearing it. I like it better that way anyway though

i think it is pretty creative. hmm, maybe make him be chocolate or something closer to gorilla color? just a suggestion. looks nice either way :)

Are you married to it being a gorilla? I agree, as a random ice cream flavor it's out-there, but if it does accidentally tap into some horrible state in the world, well, that's not what you're going for....
Maybe another theme would be best. If someone were to wear it, as is, and catch flack out in public about it, they might sour on the shirt, and sour on Threadless, and since Threadless is a business, that's not something they would want happening and so even if it scored fantastically well, they just might not go there... I'm just saying that to be realistic. There must be other wonky, graphically suitable ideas for oddball ice cream flavors. Monty Python had albatross flavored albatrosses... You could do a shoe, or a piano, or a skull, or a phone, or anything... My two cents, anyway. Check out my slogans, if you have a moment, k? |
There are 8 colors total, but I need to figure out exactly how it could be printed to get the right distress effect. my plan would be to-
- use the belt process for the overall distress pattern over the shirt
- the white gloss highlight that would just be a 10pt halftone gradient
I'm pretty sure it's doable though.
