i was feeling a little agro the other day so i vented some of it into this. no hidden meaning here so interpret it as you will. feed back is welcomed and encouraged.

Take all the sharp objects and pills in your house, lock them in a box, bury it and throw away the key! Hope you are feeling better now sweetie. I wouldn't be a teenager again for any amount of money. Art is a good way to work out your angst. I like this drawing style. The house I especially like but I do find it all a bit emotional and personal and wearing it on a Tee would depress me. That all said - KEEP DRAWING!

Love it! Especially the caged heart!~



A little cleaning up would be nice tho.. but don't lose that sketchy feel; that works.

I do like this sketchy style a lot, never been able to achieve it myself (my tendency to overwork things). I'm a tad envious!

why thank you. :) im not sure what wanhin means by clean it up without losing a sketchy feel. its a tad contradictory.



any particular areas people think need adjusting?

I really like it. I don't know why. But it feels like its missing something and I can't put my finger on it. . . I'm sorry that's completely unhelpful. Lemme stare at it a while longer.

I would loose the heart.. although that its nice, its a bit too much.. then you could make you figures a little big bigger and move the clouds up.. I really like the little figure that wants to grap the flower :)

Yeah, I think that's it I like the heart and I like the people but both on the front of the shirt is too much.

i think otherwise.. the heart's the focal point.. just my opinion~

Anyways, you could add some detail to the big headed kid and his little slave. =D Remember, sketchy, but well defined.

What if you lost the cloud on the back and put the heart there? But that might make it like two totally separate designs then. Although you could call it 'Home is where the heart is' (The back bit and sub it totally separately as a new design on the front). Which is a bit sad really because it makes it look like someone is imprisoned in their own home - but there are people who do feel that way. Just some ideas :o)

I'm fighting with myself, I really want the peoples and the heart together but something is just not. . . working. Grrrr... maybe it's the scribbles around the heart-- maybe draw an actual cage? Maybe add another cloud and put the cage on top? I'm brainstorming, I like it no matter what is done to it.

The heart does seem to make a good focal point. Have it hanging from a cloud by a rope even?

Lack of story doesn't work for me. If there isn't a story, it should be much simpler and rely on the art. If it's this detailed, it needs more story - implied action, something about to happen, etc.

well i submitted. i like it so ill just see what happens.



and it kinda has a story. guy ties up pet and goes for a walk. he sees only the obscurity of the world he is in yet the pet, even though it is confined by a chain sees only beauty.



moral: vote 5 if it gets through. haha.
