This is great -- the only suggestion I would have is to make the female more neanderthal-looking, so there's more of a "I could see how he could take up with the dino" reaction. She doesn't have to be extremely unattractive, but she should be in the same genus as the guy (homo neanderthalis vs. homo sapien).
