Is this worth developing?
and if so, what'd be a good title for it?

hmm....maybe if the sudoku were more recognizable....

oh and then make the sudoku's word bubble say what it's saying on two lines...so it's more like a sudoku frame...

eh, i dunno. i think there should be something more than just the two greeting eachother, something less stagnant?

i think it's got possibilites. what if the crossword was filled in, and instead of saying "hi!" it said something like 5 down, and 5 down would be something like how you doin'?

yeah, i do see where you're coming from ginette (and foundayshun) but this idea just popped into my head and it took on the form of a stupid fwf style of pun/cutesy design.
Most of those designs are as simple and shallow as this.i.e 2 inanimate objects with faces greeting each other.

Can you think of anything else they can be saying?
perhaps some kind of showdown?

I like Foundayshun's suggestion of having words/numbers in their respective grids. They should be meaningful to the people who do those puzzles, like a face-off on which puzzle is better. For the crossword, something like "pen is mightier than the sword/sudoku"? I don't do sudokus, so I don't know what would work for that.

howabout having the the crossword talking to a pen, saying "you complete me" or is that just too shit?
