I think it's too plain. Maybe on a different color shirt, to liven it up. Or give it some color itself.

Ah forgot to say this...I'm thinking of changing the color of the lines or doing an inverse type thing with the lines blue. I experimented with it a bit and it gives it a real "night" feel. Though, I did want to submit the original design to the boards and get some feedback before I make any changes.

Are you saying I should detail each building and the hand in a more cartoon-ish style instead of leaving just the outlines?

the idea is great,

but somehow it looks empty, i wud try to make smoother lines first and add some details to it, like windows to some buildings, or some sky.. stuff like that, and also i wud move the middle finger under so it wud look like the hand is full.. that gradient on the shirt is somehow not working for me.. experiment with other shirt colors..

I'll add some windows and possibly a sky of sorts. I'm just not quite sure about how to go about doing the background though since I don't want the hand just floating in the sky.



I will definitely move the middle finger too. Good suggestion.



Oh and if you check out V5 (I actually prefer it to V6), it doesn't have the shirt gradient. Just a gradient in the hand (which I would change to a halftone).

Interesting idea, but the rainbow colored buildings are not doing it for me. Also, I think you should play around with placement some because right now the design seems very stagnant. As far the the gradient, the hand in v5, and the shirt in v6. Gradients are very hard to use effectively and only seem to work well in certain design types. I do not think the gradient works at all here.

Heh, some like rainbow some don't. I'm not sure how it'll end up.



But yeah, I don't plan on using gradients at all in my next version. Halftones will be used for shading though.



And good idea on placement. I knew it looked too stagnent, but that never occured to me. Thanks!
