I have a feeling that my submission is also suffering from the well known disease "no commentiatis".

Hi! I like the idea but considering that USS is related to United States (I think the other S is for Ship), you should consider not adding Japanese stuff like kitty or godzilla.

I thought that the USS in Star Trek stood for "United Star Ship".

looks great. ive never seen any star trek/star wars etc so i dont really get it....but i think all the pics should be at the same angle :)

@Henni: the idea is that the ships aren't USS starships. I just took a bunch of other well known logo's or items and put an engine of the USS enterprise on their head. Tadaah.

@kto98: I think i agree with you on that, i'll try to change it. Certainly Bert's engine.

I changed the title to "12 Federation Starships" instead of USS because USS may be interpreted as united states ship and not as united stars ship.



I changed the apple to another apple.



I changed all the rockets so they have the same size and same direction. However i did not change anything to the real federation ship to keep some sort of contrast between the real stuff and the fakers.

I think this looks really cool. My only concern is copyright laws.

@ SuperRyan: indeed, especially with the USS hello kitty, USS Mickey and USS Apple there might be some issues. That's why i kept everything dark en left out most of the details so it's clearly a spoof.

I hope the copyright gods shine down upon this design

hmm.. disney might be really hard to get by, but otherwise really clean design.

I think Batman would look better without the thruster on his head.

The Bert one seems to be that odd man out. The hair is a little too detailed and it sets it apart. Excellent idea and color scheme.

I ditched the headengine on the USS Batman. I guess he can cruise comfortably through outer space with the two remaining engines. However I did enhance the chrometroflux regenerationstabilizer on both of them just to be safe.



I changed the hair on the USS Bert.



I changed the color red on the USS Apple. It was wrong.

I really like it, the concept is great, the design is perfect and the colors work nicely.

Thanks for the comments. I'll submit it and see whether or not it gets accepted. All the logo's and icons are far enough away from the original and it's pretty clear that it's a spoof so i'd say copyright shmopyright!

yeeeah, i'd be careful about that if i were you....most of these are owned by major corporations...and those images are pretty darn similar to the originals....just be careful.

Just lose the text at the top, this is just weird enough to make sense again and doesnt need a punchline like that.

These are funny, but some will likely not make it past copyright issues, like Mickey. Also, for some reason, I feel like Godzilla needs another jet.
