any suggestions for a better title?

I think the hole part of the needle needs to be a little more oval-like so that it looks like a needle more. The hole currently looks like it's just a mis-colored part of a stick.

I would just call it "Needle In a Haystack"

I like your grass.

The string hanging off of the needle seems to clump up weird. It just looks kind of awkward, maybe just have it end after one or two spirals.

needle head could indeed be a bit smaller, but the hole is always very long.

awesome, at first i just thought it was a haystack and iwas going to write needs work, but 3 seconds later i realized that it is an awesome idea, maybe you could add a little more halftone pattern to show that it is a needle pattern thing (dont know what its called haha) but overall good work :P

It`s great! The only thing I want to complain about is the shirt color. Would be nice to see it on a different color. I`m working on something a similar, so a bit bummed about that, but thats threadless for you, always someone thinking similar..

def prefer the first option. it's lookin nice - still a bit dull tho. i'd probably add some more detail to the hay..

added a barn and fence in the back, to give the design more dept.

Also, would be cool if the coil of thread went under and over each other, rather than the shadow just being under all of it? There seems to bee some stray brighter green bits of grass too?

also the coloring isn't very hay colored...it looks more green than yellow....
