looks very good. I can really feel your hand in this. is this a belt print? Also, if you shifted the pupil of the eye from the center to any direction the bird will look more alive and less 'in shock'. unless that's what you want. all in all - sub it.
Thanks for all the positive feedback, took me aback a little :P Ill mock it up on some other colours and sub that up tomorrow mornin' any sugguestions?
I like the secondary background of brushstrokes, which seems to be lost on the non-white shirts. Without the pale purple brushstrokes, the target design doesn't make as much sense. The brushstrokes also enhance the feeling of a watercolor painting, which subtly but significantly affect the drawing's charm.
Many people find plain white tees a turn-off, and it's true, they are rare on Threadless and don't seem to score highly. I don't know why, but people seem to react negatively to them. I don't own a single white t-shirt. Anyway, I support your idea of having a different shirt color, if only because it might increase its attractiveness in the eyes of the voters. If you do want to go with another color, pink looks good to me, but doesn't offer that much contrast; pale blue offers contrast, but seems to cool down the pink too much. It might look sophisticated on a neutral like sand or pale grey. Just be sure to keep that cute watercolor background.
God, who's lamer than someone shilling their critique? Somebody who makes it inconvenient to look at by forgetting the friggin link, that's who. (But in all seriousness, I actually support shilling, I think it's good that the community looks after itself.)
I'll vote for it ONLY if you keep that introductory text, and possibly only the comment by RAD Design. People will think they're missing out on some joke and they'll vote because they don't want to be racist against flamingos.
I kid. I joke. Thanks for your help on my critique.
