Thanks man. The ballons are like its Sea anemone. But since he is a clown...i thought it would play off by having them as balloons...all clowns have balloons.



He could always sit by himself on a shirt however.

Not sure which version I like best....kinda like it in the bottom corner? any takers?

I don't like the colors and too many people will probably associate this with pixar's "finding nemo". I think it will work much better on blue. If you want to play the clown thing all the way, have it be a funky clown in a fish party or something. please take a look

some advices:



Smaller, down placement & a longer strings until the end of the shirt. ;-) and blue shirt.

I dissagree with your logic Ehud. If its a funky clown that is more cartoony then it will be more like finding nemo, which was a cartoony clown fish. Instead of a photorealistic clown fish with a nose and some eye and mouth make up like this one. Also the blue background does not work because I am maxed out on the 8 colors and the clown fishes dark lines and stippling are actually from the color of the t-shirt behind it. The green of the balloons is the same color green as many sea anemones. And he is already at a part...dont you see all the balloons...clowns love balloons. You missed the subtle things. Thanks for your opinion.

This is a funny idea. A blue shirt would be a good change. Also, I'd change the color of the balloons.

i really like this one, hmmm, i like the bottom corner best, though maybe slightly smaller but with more balloons. and add me to the blue brigade

I agree with the corner placement. And witht he balloons color change. Anemones exist in many colors, you could maybe use different shades of blue.

I would definitely make the design smaller on the tee - it looks a little crowded as it is.

I would change the shirt color to dark green or olive green.

i agree w/ helmut, make the balloons blend in with the shirt more, i think olive green would look best, and id take out some balloos its pretty crowded

Cute idea. I would make the ballons take the shape of seaweed. ..and change the color of the shirt to blue. JMO.

Definitely change the shirt colour. Other than that it's a good idea.

I love your fish. I named him Jerry.

I'd like to see this on a blue shirt too. Dark blue is fine. Any blue would keep the sea theme alive.

Use the same shading you used on the fish to make the balloons rounded. It works very well on the fish and there's no point in dropping it.

I like the bottom placement, but have the fish more to the left so his nose won't be hidden under my arm when I wear this shirt.

Last comment: I'd love to see Jerry smiling. He IS at a party, isn't he?

Too many balloons. I would take out about 20% of the balloons. 20 balloons carries the same message as a 100 balloons. The fish is fine I like the fish. Maybe make a few of the balloons the same colour as the fish. That would balance out some of the composition. Also make the shading and highlights of the balloons different couse they tend to get monotonous.

Hmm - I love the fish... but I'm in the too many balloons camp. If he's a sad fish (and I like him sad), maybe he only has one balloon? I get the anemone thing but maybe that is a different tee?

I think the color choices are fine, i like it, for some reason the placement doesn't affect me, it works either way

Could be cool if it was just an ordinairy fish, but with a facepaint of a clown.

(The you won't have the Nemo association)

thanks all....ummmmm i don't have the nemo association, but maybe because i have had clownfish before there was a nemo. just a fish painted as a clown would not play on the name clownfish.

The only thing that seems to need a little bit of work to me is the claw looking anemone(I think that's what it is)...doesn't look like it fits in quite yet somehow...perhaps just needs to be a little more organic looking like your polyps?

I like the claw hook things...they are tube worm shells that have expired and their is reef string where the clown fish has some balloon seahorses and some hankeys.....plus the fish has a giant red ball on his nose...lol

not feeling the coral that much, maybe the fihs on its own or fix the coral a bit more?

There's a bit of a tangent going on with his bottom lip and the coral . . . could be confusing.
