I think it would be better if the insects were coloured and had a black lines etc rather then simply having green lines, they get lost against the black

Hmmm, I'm not sure I understand - are praying mantes nocturnal?

Pretty cool. I'd scale the image down a bit, so that its highest point is about 3/4 of the way up from the bottom hem.



And this is just me, but I'd love the graphic to be the White House instead, ha.

Maybe clean up the building a bit to match the style of the mantis(is?), but a funny idea.

To me it seems like the praying mantes are a very different style than the building. That's the only thing I would change

Looks so muck better now, but I think it would be better if you not just copy-pased the bug, but draw it a little different each time. Like that they are crawling on the building.

What is the motivation behind this shirt?

Not sure I like the addition of the jets. Isn't one disaster enough? Two doesn't make alot of sense. If you had 3 or more, it'd be nicely excessive and ironic. Sort of an "Anything that can go wrong, will" feel. I'd rethink it if I was you. :)

I appreciate the effect you're going for, but I'm not sure it works in its current form. The White House looks like you posterized a hi-res photo. I think it needs to be more stylized--give it your stamp of personality.

i liked the idea of glow in the dark.

why not have the mantis' with sun, then in the dark show the building and have glowing jets on the back?

just a suggestion.

is it like some sort of attack? if it is there should be explosions!

I think this shirt is great! I'm not fond of the color of the shirt itself though. For the back maybe have the back side of the Cap. Building.

yea I thought of that too, or maybe the white house, but that would be even more work and hard to display on the voting page. how about one praying mantis standing on the back and when the sun hits it, it is eating a jet?



I think the jets are sending the wrong message. they are supposed to be there to fight the bugs.

You could try changing the angle of the jets? If the V was pointing downward, it might look like it was directed at the bugs.



Not totally sold on the concept yet, but I think it'll become clearer as you work on it. What if you drew the Capital yourself? It's obviously a different style than the bugs and jets, and it would be more coherent if you drew them all in the same style.

I am using adobe cs4 with the threadless template someone kindly posted on here, but I want to move the buttons around and make it so if you run the cursor over one the next slide appears suddenly, not sliding over. How do you change the button names?

I´m not that good in flash, but if you seach for "flash template", I´m sure you`ll find something.

I think on the templete the jets help fill the shirt and give it a sense of urgency, but on the model the capital with bugs is cool enough. Opinions? What could take the place of the jets? Clouds? What about the concept as a whole? Do you get it and is it cool?

The bugs and white house look really blurry and pixelly. I'd like for this to be more polished.

i think it is better without the UV ink. but somehow the overrall color combination doesn't really work, probably you need to blend it better using a lighter tone.

Your placement is great...the art its self is lacking though. I'd work on cleaning it up and defining it.

I agree I need to tone down the black, clause.

maybe make the building look more hand drawn. make the mantis' eyes completely red with no green dot. and maybe get rid of the jets. i still really like this idea :)

I agree with many of the previous comments. Think I'd make the building more hand drawn. Cool concept but the illustration could use some polishing. Keep at it.
