Just playing around with some photos and the 5-color limit. C&Cs welcome.



This is the Manhattan skyline from the Queensboro Bridge, if anyone wants to know.

Eh...it's okay. I mean, not the most creative idea. Perhaps you could add birds and maybe people on rooftops? I would laugh if there's a guy standing at the edge of a huge skyscraper in silhoutte, as if the photographer took the picture before he jumps. Anyway, it's too simple now. Add birds, scenery.

I agree that this needs a lot of work because of its simplicity. Perhaps sunset colors? And windows in some of the buildings? And detail across the board. I like skylines, though, so I think it's definitely worth more work.

I originally went with a classic orange-yellow sunset color scheme but this didn't say New York to me; more LA.



I will add some detail and add an update in due course, thanks for the feedback.

What if you used buildings/bridges/statues with very recognizable silhouettes and put them together like some type of weird Disneyland town? I think that might give this an edge.
