It seems odd that there's a lot of detail (variations in color) in the bell of the horn, which is a pretty simple part of the instrument, but virtually none in the area of the keys, which is a much more complex area.
The fact that the overlaid blue circles are visible on the horn but not on the background seems a little weird as well.
This is the first shirt I've ever seen that has a french horn on it!
The only thing that bothers me is that the horn itself is so painterly, while everything else has such a clean graphic feel...I feel like I need them to be more integrated
I cant believe i didnt comment on this. I thought i did. I think this is badass! I saw the placement you had for this and its perfect. I really cant choose from the color options, they all look great. Hmm what if you did a two color thing. Instead of shades of gray maybe you can put two main colors. I think the only thing you need to do right now is play around with some colors and maybe one combination will be perfect. If not I think it is amazing the way it is already. Good luck and let me know when you submit this, I definetly want to vote a $5 for this.
Thanks for commenting and voting for my design. Hopefully it was a $5 :)
Oh if have some friends please ask them to help support my design
Haha hey cool you took my advice. I hope you like how it turned out cause right now this is blowing my MIND!!! This is really good.... Hmmm let me think ...... I really cant think of anything else to suggest (I was going to suggest music notes, but you already have bubbles there and notes might be a little too cliche). I like this version and color scheme the best. It is quintessential Jazz to me lol.
I think the color change was a good choice. I would either clean up the illustration of the different tones on the horn itself or go way over the top on the messiness. Keep it up!
Hey there, thanks for your comments on my critique! I like your colour choice, the rough-edged look is cool. I think a lot of musicians would wear this. I really need to see it on a shirt, might be better on a softer background like sand.
I really dig the design, but i can't help but wonder what it would look like with colors that complimented the shirt color. Mainly i'm not a fan of using gold and purple, but i think you can find some awesome colors that work better on something other than a black shirt.
This is nice, but I agree with the color decisions....I would maybe think of another t-shirt color and replacing the purple. Fix it up a bit and I bet it will look sweet :D
