Inspired by Escher.

Baarn was where he lived... it was sort of a joke in reference to miami ink...

fail.

Anyway.

I think it looks a bit plain...any suggestions?

Im diggin it... as a fan of escher and all...

that said i would like to see this get submitted... just a few things.. fix the cord to the tatto needs they look choppy...

im also not too familiar with tattoo needles so im not sure if it looks awkward cause of the design or my lack of knowledge.. but i could still tell thats what it was... also the top right tatto should look more wrapped on the side of the arm....

good work!

I think your concept has lots of potential. Here are my suggestions:

- Keep it monochrome with detailed linework for a closer nod to Echer.

- Research more tattoos (sleeves) and create work that's more believable with it going around the arm contour. The anchor there is cliche & looks like clip art.

- Think of a more effective manner of incorporating that cord.

- Finally, your tattoo machine looks flat and out of proportion.
