For the musical people in this world? I may add more colors to the explosion part and have the entire trumpet instead of cutting it off but I would like some feedback.

Personally i like the fact its cut off- you wouldnt get enough room for the explosion if all the trumpet was shown.

I would have the trumpet wrap around. Also the explosion from the trumpet would probably look better if it spread out more at the end so it was more of a funnel shape.

Can they even do the wrap around with the trumpet?

Because that would be pretty cool.

They should be able to wrap it around, I know they have the capability to do it. It depends on if they feel the front and back would line up correctly and look right.



With the colors I think adding more might help. I recommend a warm color, and instead of having it be the bubbly splatter look the blues are doing, maybe consider a different pattern or effect of some kind to keep it interesting.

The trumpet looks a little wonky, like you've stretched it in some weird way or the image you used to create it was at an angle that doesn't work for the silhouette. It would also be cool if the splatter went all over that side of the shirt, even splatter on the arm a bit. (If the splatters are just one color, they can use belt-printing to put it on the arm. Otherwise, you'll need to keep it off of it.)

Trumpet sticks out like a sore thumb, make it really small and all the way on the shirt and the explosion bigger, flowing over more of the shirt, Try a different shirt color.

I changed a lot from the last one. Lightning bolts, color, spread, etc. Any other suggestions?

Maybe not so much splatter, to me it takes away from the trumpet cause there is a lot going on with the bolts and color splats

i'd say resize the bolts, or even mask them so the black background splatters into the yellow of the bolts, and possibly add some smaller spatter, like spray, i like the concept keep it up!

Great concept! Maybe it's just me, but the lightning bolts seem a little too symmetrical. The rest of the shirt is kind splattery and awesomely chaotic, and maybe you should move one of the bolts around a little.

I love the blue spatter but the bolts are too cartoony

I'm not sure if I like version 1 or 2 better, somewhere between the 2 would be ideal.



I think the trumpet needs to be larger like in v1, and the intensity of the splatter/lightning needs to be somewhere between v1 and v2. I agree that the lightning is a little cartoony. Would it be too cliche to throw a few music notes in with the splattery chaos?

Yeah I threw in the bolts t the last minute really. Some music notes would be awesome to put in! Screw cliches. Maybe if I made the bolts have the splattery effect? Would that be better?

i'm agreeing with what most people are saying here concerning finding a happy medium between v1 and v2. The lightning bolts are just not fitting in, take em out! I really really was jazzed with the idea of the music notes. what would be cool is if the the paint splatters were being splatted in a very abstract music note pattern, or even sheet music. i think it could only work being VERY abstract though. Also, i feel like the blast of paint should have more force and movement (similar to v1)

i like the splatters in v1, they look like they're actually coming from the trumpet. v2 doesn't. the bolts are too similar i think. also i think if it was printed on a real shirt, the shirt wouldn't be so wide, so the trumpet would be angled up more. i think that would be a good thing too cuz right now it's too close to a 45 i think.

Maybe if you just take out the lightning, and narrow the range of splatters...



But i think some splattery music notes would look good.

The horn of the trumpet was widened. Splatter narrowed. Lighting removed. T-shirt color changed. Subtle music notes added as well.

I really like the idea, but to me the widened bell just puts it out of proportion and makes it look a little odd, perhaps the average person wouldn't notice though.

Looking at the other versions that preceded it (hindsight being 20/20 and all) I'd say that you need a picture that will match the angle you want the trumpet to have, by taking a straight profile and distorting it, the proportions turn out odd.

Pretty cool and appropriate splatter. Maybe more emphasis on the trumpet and some color. Otherwise pretty nice and colorful shirt you have going on here. Cant wait to see next version.

Heh I don't know if I'm getting closer to finishing or farther away. It'd be cool if the trumpet could wrap around to the back but I still don't know if that's possible.

this version is definitely the best. I like the white trumpet and the subtle notes, its a nice simple design I would actually wear.

Sweet! I think I'll clean it up a bit so it's not pixelated and see where that gets me.
