This is still a work in progress. I feel I need to fine tune the truck illustration or even redraw it by hand but I'm not sure. I'd like some feedback on how it looks now.

I know it would make it inaccurate (in some parts of the world) but I think that it would look better if you switched the solid and the dotted line.

Have you ever seen"Maximum Overdrive" ? It's a Steven King movie that is about transport trucks gone mad!

"Maximum Overdrive" Yes freaky movie. I never looked at my Lawn Mower the same after that movie.

Love the shirt! I also slightly agree that it would look better with the dotted and solid lines switched... even though it would be inacurate where I am...

If I put the dotted line on both sides then he is just in the middle of a big freeway.

Hm. This idea has a ton of potential. But I don't even think you need any background. I also think a large print, with the truck facing us head on would be neat.

i thin the less the more effective. maybe put some crazy skull exhaust fumes coming out. but not so much skulls, just an idea. maybe some UV? but that might not work with this piece. you def on to something bort.

i think your truck illustration look fantastic, just that i don't quite agree with the 2 lines. yup i agree that your truck alone look great! or maybe you can try doing lines behind the truck simulating speed.? just a thought :)

It took me a while but I finally got around to updating this design with the feedback I got here. I changed the view, added a scared car and tried something new with the lines around the truck in the glow view. To see a larger detail of the Super Glow view go here.

I may try to roughen up the truck a bit for the non-glow stage so the truck has more personality in the light.

this is awesome! You should make the car so that you can see it without glow as well. Except when it's not glowing the car shouldn't look scared. But again, this is awesome :)

Darker grey shirt would be cool, does the super glow work as well on the darker shirts when not printed over white? I haven't work with the stuff before but I thought it worked best on light colored shirts. I'm really hoping to have the super glow be as none visible as possible when it is light out. I'd love to use a darker shirt if it works.

Made the design on Black and kept the superglow but allowed some of the glow elements be in the main design. Testing out some flash as well.

What does this version look like in the day? WHat elements are glow?

eskimokiss: I show examples of those in the Model Shots if you click on the Shirt Icon in the upper left hand corner. I should have mentioned that.



The in the day version is now on Black and has all the glowing parts showing in the print but still includes a super glow print over top of the elements I want to glow.

I dig it. Great work on your background too. I would like to see the teeth become LESS apparent during the day...but either way its good work.

I kind of gave up on the idea of making it look different between day and night. It seemed that people had an issue that the truck during the day was too boring but during the glow night view it was more interesting. I decided to just make the night glow view more of the day illustration and still have it glow at night for full effect.

i wonder if people would wear a shirt with a big truck on it (daylight scene), but i like the chageover to the night scene! looks scary :-)

only one thing about the smoke tho, it looks like the smoke is coming towards you, because of the faces in it.. change that, and it got the speed feel you want i think...

ok maybe I'm confusing everyone with the day night thing. The design is meant to show the truck and car at night on the shirt. Then as an added bonus there is some superglow printed over the lighter parts of the printing which gives a really cool glow effect in the dark. Oh well.

It looks great on the tee. Nice stuff!

this is hilarious! I love you how you made the driver and passenger eyes form the eyes of the truck, and your use of minimal colour is genius! Sub it and if you let me know when your running you got 5$ from me hands down!
