I'm thinking about belt print over the right shoulder. Kind of like Her Hair.

Also, I'm gonna do some orange fur-texture just like the horns and nose.

I love this!! The details on the horns and nose and the thread-like text are awesome.

Score my design?

I'm having trouble getting his head and the hello on the shirt, while covering the whole right side.

I was thinking of having him holding a tea cup. Thoughts?

I personally like the furry little hand but I'm curious about the teacup idea. Either way, I'm still a huge fan of this :)

He's not gonna hold a teacup now. haha He's just gonna be waving. I'm giving him some nice looking claws.

heres a thought, maybe wrap it around the left or right side and have the exact same thing on the back but have the bubble say "goodbye"

I was actually thinking that. Weird. I'll have to find a model with front and back. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll think about it.

Made some changes. Started adding some fur detail.

Man, the fur takes so long! But it looks really good so far. And anyone know where I can get the t-shirts laying on the wood, showing the back and front. I think I'll use that for the presentation.

looking good man! maybe try a gradient on the main red color? I mean it already looks awesome so maybe try something different to see if you might like it? it doesnt have to be simlated process you can use a gradient as one color, like a darker to lighter of the same color.

The whole color darker red you used, it might add a lil more depth to your artwork, I mean its already awesome and might screw it up dunno, couldnt provide a lot of diff suggestions.

i kinda like the mouth in v2 better, this character is great! is he going to be by himself or will he have a companion?

But the V2 mouth is a lot simpler. Plus this mouth makes him look more quirky. I'll see what other people think. It's really hard to please everyone isn't it? haha



He will be by himself, I think that adding a head to the back would complicate the design in terms of placement.

The sleeve reminds me of a strawberry...

yeah make it a tiny bit more noticeable, looks crazy good on the shirt tho, but if the gradient is not so noticeable they might not even use it in the print of the shirt. I think it will give it more depth.

Ummm if the gradient is made up of two colors, does it count as two? Or simulated process? I just read that if they're not halftoned in the middle then they count for another color. And I don't know how to halftone...

colors lighter and darker. Yeah that would work. I'll post another update soon.

Update with placement!

I got rid of the gradient in his arms.

this is awesome. much better. maybe increase the thickness of the orange line of the arm, so that it's a bit more visible.



Also, have you considered the back if the shirt?

It'll be belt printed on the back... Is that a good idea? Or do you mean if there's any drawing or something on the back?

it would be cool to have it half purple, half shirt color on the back, just like it is on the front.
