This is a cute concept! My preference would be to lose the text and tweak the egg a bit--it looks kinda like a daisy, but with a few less side protrusions it would be perfect.

Oops--forgot to add this: the chicken and the egg seem a little mismatched, mainly because the chicken uses solid black outlines and the egg doesn't. It's such a cute bird, though, so beyond altering the stroke color I wouldn't change a thing!

I'm not liking the text, but I also don't think I get the concept. The illustrations are good so there is something working about this so far.

I think you could probably ditch the type altogether. Otherwise, I like it! :)

I suggest making the egg look a bit more random in it's white edges. Almost flower-esque shape there ;)

What if you took the outer shape of the Chicken and used it as the white shape of the egg part.

i like the style, but doesn't really need the text.

I like the imagery but i think the text just loses all the impact.

Well the idea was that as an egg you don't know if you will end up being a chicken or a fried egg. That is why the whole EGGspectation thing comes from.

I'm not sure I understand what bortwein means by taking the outer shape of the chick ... maybe more explanation about that could give you more leads.

I preferred the first font you used in V1. The placement of the type could be somewhere more subtle, but easier to read than wrapping around the hem.

This illustration is nifty. I definitely like it better without the text. Overall, it looks really great. I'm not seeing anything that needs changing.
